So I came here wanting to send a head-canon request if it’s not too much, on how would law react to the girl he has a crush on getting Corazon calm-calm devil fruit.

- Law knew you had a devil fruit, and he didn’t pry, a person’s powers were their business if you wanted to tell him you would. - But when the crew had journeyed too far on an island and needed to camp for the night, some of the crew kept hearing things and freaking out, it was annoying him, no one could settle which mean he couldn’t settle. - That’s when you came out with your power, you stood up, proud expression on your face “Finally a use for this!” everyone looked at you confused. - You caused a bubble that formed around the camp, no sounds from outside could be heard. - And Law’s heart stopped. - The memories came rushing back, he was glad he’d been sitting when this happened, or he’d had fallen flat on his ass. - Everyone stares at Law. - You look confused when he points at you. --

“Where did you get that fruit?” He asked, voice the lowest anyone on the crew had ever heard. You weren’t sure why he was acting this way, honestly.

He’d had feelings for you, ones he repressed and hid from the world, from you. So, seeing the woman he had feelings for standing there with Cora-san’s power seemed to have more of a jarring effect. It scrambled his thoughts and feelings; he knew how devil fruits worked but he never thought in a world this vast he’d ever encounter it again.

“It appeared in my fruit bowl when I was a little girl” You shrugged and went to sit next to him, feeling hurt when he shuffled away, mostly so he could stare at you with wide grey eyes.

“I didn’t think it was a very good power, I still don’t” You looked at your hands on your lap, not liking the stare Law was giving you as you carried on “I still resent I can’t swim and my powers.. stupid and really lame”

He winced, heart aching, remembering when he’d told Corazon those exact things about the power, he suddenly felt a wave of heartbreak, for the things he said and did in his youth, when he had those precious moments with Cora-san and now this.

The woman he liked, he’d never allow himself to say love, was sat here, feeling ashamed and embarrassed about a power that now he was remembering, the connection to some of his fondest and most painful memories, feeling thorns tighten around his heart he stood, excusing himself from the group.

Y’all asked for this, so here it is at last! Minor warnings for some body horror? I think? It’s the Starscourge man it’s basically a horror movie trope that ran away and set up shop in a fantasy game. But I don’t think it’s that graphic or bad but what do I know, I don’t watch horror movies because I’m a wimp. Lots of angst tho. And an eventual happy ending.

Chiara has her back to him so she can’t see his sad smile. Still, she knows him too well and knows that tone goes with a sad smile. She is leaning against the balcony, her elbows propped up by the fence, watching the sea under her.

     “annalise, hey !!” harry hadn’t seen her since that day; the day she had given the truth and walked away. he’d wanted to rush after her, but there had been far too much rushing through his mind at the time. he hadn’t been sure what to do in that scenario. but now that he had finally managed to find her around?? the first mate wasn’t going to waste the opportunity to attempt a conversation with her. at least, he was hoping things would go that route rather than him being slapped again. all he wanted was a civil conversation to discuss everything and to hopefully talk her out of joining his sister’s crew. he couldn’t stand having to face her as an enemy if things between him and harriet continued down the road that it was. he still cared about her. that couldn’t be erased. “will ye at least give me a minute tae talk?? i never got the chance the other day.”

Cor stood at parade rest, hands behind his back, shoulders straight, and his eyes decidedly forward. Not looking at Regis. He wasn't sure he could look at Regis at the moment, everything considering. He could feel the vines constricting his lungs, and there was a distinctly floral taste in the back of his throat that he was really coming to hate. He swallowed it down.

“I didn’t want to ruin your day,” he replied without emotion. “You were... so happy earlier, with the others. I didn’t want to take that happiness away.”

It was corny, it really was. Enough that even he could see it. The point still stood though. She deserved be able to go a day without him and his job ruining it for her again like it always did. She’d been the one to invite him along despite the reservations of a certain older brother and now he was doing exactly as Chris had warned her that he would; he was leaving again.

“I can’t put it off any longer. I really have to go. I’m sorry.”
