Conquest and his dog
I am a firm believer that Conquest needs a dog. Specifically one rescued from a fighting ring. I donāt think it would fix him, but I do think it would give him something to live for outside of conquering planets. An animal, who canāt judge him, who loves him unconditionally. Instead of coming back to an empty āhomeā if you can call it that, heād come back to a pupper whoās excited to see him.Ā
I see him with a bully breed. A large meat headed dog, chopped ears, covered in scars but has a really sweet temperment. (Possibly used as bait dog?)
I feel like owning a dog would also encourage him to make his place more comfortable. Not for himself of course but for his dog. Heād start with pretty much nothing. Heād get the dog a blanket and thatās it, but the more he thinks about it, the more he doesnāt want his dog to live like him. So he starts by getting a nice plush dog bed, then a pillowā¦ And after that heād spiral. Heād bring home toys. So many freaking toys! Then he moves onto treats. Heād teach his dog a few simple tricks like sit, stay, maybe shake but really heād just look at his pup and think āYeah, itās treat time.ā No rhyme nor reason to it, beyond his belief that his dog deserves it.Ā
I think it would be funny if he got this really nice fluffy dog bed so his dog wouldnāt have to sleep on the floor and instead of using it his pupper would just rather curl up to him to sleep. So Conquest caves and get a mattress cause he canāt have his dog sleeping on the cold floor. Now at night he lays on his mattress, dog curled up in the crook of his arm, head on his chest and heās never felt more content.Ā
Now as for the dogs name heād just call it ādogā or āmuttā for the first few days. Not because he canāt think of a name but because he wants the right one. Conquest wasnāt given a name, he was given a job. I think names are important to him. (Enough that heād lament to Mark about it) They are a symbol of not just being something but being someone. Heād really want to spend some time mulling it over before giving his pup just any old name.Ā Moving onā¦
Play-fighting! Play-fighting! Play-fighting! This man will play tug-of-war and growl right back. Heāll roll around with his dog, let him naw at his fingers. Has a touch of cuteness aggression where heāll just take his dogs head and give him quick shake. (never hard enough to hurt his pup. Itās all just play)
That dog is his baby. I can totally see him picking up his dog and just carrying them around.
I think heād have a few different accessories for them. If itās a boy heād get him a bunch of different collars and a gold chain. If itās a girl I think heād go all out on the pink accessories. Pink collar, pink bow, if heās feeling crazy (and when is he not) pink toe nails. Either way heās getting his dog pajamas!
I just know that his pupper would look at him like heās their whole world š I just know it! Conquest loves his baby. More than anything. Heās thankful that his dog loves him in such a pure, joyful way. His dog never says anything mean, never expects anything from him, never makes him feel like heās a tool to be used. His pup is simply happy heās there and for Conquest thatās all he needs.
