Maybe it is cuz it's that time of the month for me, but I'm looking at my phone simping and giggling and he's literally just furry asdffghkll
I don't even know what my big point is here but just some thoughts that I think people in the heated rivalry fandom genuinely underestimate the importance of plausible deniability in hollywood. Especially to two young up and coming actors. Its why I think all the entertainment "journalists" with actual platforms constantly sexualizing connor is so gross. They are actively trying to erase the plausible deniability he has tried so hard to achieve. Because despite what people may have convinced themselves in their bubble, the world and hollywood (especially in the current political climate) is especially cruel to queer actors. People far more powerful than hudson and connor have ensured they always always have plausible deniability (the two of them have no real power right now, fame and popularity are not the same as real cachet).
I may be biased but I also think that playing lovers gives all of hudson and connor's offscreen interactions a lot of cover - the same cover that is not available to connor with anyone else (costars or anyone else he may meet and interact with). hudson's personal relationships (whatever form you think those may take) also do the same thing.
Like I said, not sure I'm making some big point here, but I think it really really helps to perceive events through the lens of plausible deniability and see how and why that might be impacting some decisions both of them make and how and why it makes certain kinds of "rpfing" substantially more invasive than others.

I think it's cursed that when I finally felt ready to come back to this blog, the situation happened with Qwel hhh I'll still post my writing and continue this blog because I'm extremely attached to the characters and this game but I might wait longer until a proper response has been given cuz things are pretty bad with the situation and how people are feeling in general

From Monday next week this is happening! Finally we are moving to something better and ..YAY! We went to look at an apartment last Friday and got to know yesterday Monday that we got it. The fact that so many Anipoke fans promote Serena and/or Amourshipping by using the fact that Serena was the only pokegirl Pikachu didn't shock is a little silly. Pikachu was startled by something or the pokegirls themselves when he shocked them or their belongings, which is a perfectly reasonable reaction. So just because Pikachu didn't shock Serena or her stuff DOES NOT make Amourshipping canon!! Serena probably just wasn't as upfront or aggressive with her love and affection as the other girls were. Also notice that the picture that Amourshippers refer to is one where Serena has SHORT hair, meaning that it is much later in Ash's Kalos journey, so Serena and Pikachu would've gotten to know each other long before then. Reminder: Pikachu shocked the other pokegirls or their stuff WHEN HE FIRST MET THEM. We don't see him shocking them later on, do we? I think Pikachu had a close bond especially with Misty and Iris over the course of the anime.
In Conclusion: PIKACHU NOT SHOCKING SERENA OR HER STUFF DOES NOT MAKE IT AN AMOURSHIPPING HINT NOR DOES IT MAKE THE SHIP FULLY CANON!!
