Just curious. Have you seen the movie KLAUS? It's inspired by Scandinavian folklore just like Frozen 2. Also if you want to see a certain character progress from a jerk into a hero then you might like KLAUS.
I haven’t seen Klaus but I’m curious about it! Not only because of this message but because I know an acquaintance of mine on this site commented that this movie deserves to win the Oscar for Best Animated Feature. And since I don’t believe Frozen 2 deserves the award but it’s going to win anyway because Frozen..., I may watch Klaus to see how good is it.
I think this might be the second time I feel a Disney movie doesn't deserve to win the award. The last time I cared about the Oscars I wanted Into the Spider-Verse to win. And it did and it was earned. It deserved to win.
I looked for Klaus on google images and the style and designs look quite charming. I’m already a fan of Klaus’ design; he looks great. And J.K. Simmons is his voice? Neat!
Also on Wikipedia I found some interesting things about the people who worked on the movie. Like the writer and director, Sergio Pablos, who had worked on Disney’s Renaissance era! In films such as Aladdin, The Hunchback of Notre Dame, and Hercules no less! Three movies I’ve watched hundreds of times and I love. Also James Baxter worked on Klaus?! Baxter is an animator and some of his best known works are Rafiki in The Lion King, and Quasimodo in The Hunchback of Notre Dame, and Belle in Beauty and the Beast!! And he has also worked on a whole lot of other movies I also like. I have to watch this Klaus.
I also read the movie is dedicated to animator and scene checker Mary Lescher. She passed away (cancer) on June 2, 2019 :( Lescher had worked on Klaus (that’s nice), as well as other animated movies like Beauty and the Beast and The Lion King. Oh my God, I must watch this movie. I haven’t even watched it yet and I already think it deserves the Oscar. Is this movie even nominated?
