There's a study that could MAYBE cure my eye condition years in the future, but I don't want a cure for myself. I never have and I never will, but my parents are adamant that when it's finalized, I get it. I'm perfectly happy the way I am as a disabled person. There are days I hate my disability, but there are days I love it and I ultimately don't want to change it. I'm so frustrated with people being so insistent that when something comes around, I get it.
Since I had some not great news about my sight (which I was expecting, but still), I wanted to reshare a small snippet of what it's like having Aniridia.
