Okay, so Captain Kivia what a queen you are, 10/10, I want to wrap you up in a blanket and give you and Xylo a well deserved nap. Like holy shit, have you two been dealing with a lot of stuff these last few weeks.

I enjoyed the Xylo x Kivia dynamic, I love these two characters with pent up anger issues who snark and bark but over time come to trust each other. Plus if and when they have sex, you know it’s going to be very loud and very passionate. Lowkey reminds me of MingQing from MDZS

I loved the two of them being adopted parents to Teoritta, that was very cute.

Speaking of, THANK GOD they didn’t s*xu*lize Teoritta or turn her into a potential r*mantic interest for Xylo. I want them to continue to have an adopted father-daughter relationship PLEASE.

Love love the hero gang, everyone is so interesting and has great chemistry within the group. Even characters like Dotta and Norgalle really grew on me. Norgalle lowkey reminded me of Erwin Smith from Attack on Titan, such a great leader and presence on the battlefield. Why can’t we have more caring leaders like that???

Tatsuya my baby, my poor isekai baby. I feel like he is the worst outcome for any of the isekai protagonists from another world. Brought in to safe the world only to end up losing more and more of himself in the process. He’s such a tragic character and he’s another one who deserves a well earned nap.

Tsav, Venetim and Jayce are all characters I don’t have super strong feelings about but man are they fun. Love the dynamics of these guys. Venetim is literally doing his best trying to wrangle all these idiots but he’s also an idiot so it’s an organized mess and I love it.

Rhyno, you f*c*ing mad man, I love you, you insane demon lord you. Man I can’t wait to see what you do. I hope you continue to hang out with the hero gang and kill off more demons or faeries in the process. Whatever makes you happy.

Xylo, oh Xylo is an 100/10 character. I love a gruff character with a softie side. Probably one of my favorite archetypes. I really hope he learns what happened to his first goddess and gets vengeance for her and his crew. But now I’m worried if it comes at the cost of losing memories of Teoritta which would break my heart.

Teoritta is a character that I like but I did get a little annoyed by at times because of her constantly wanting praise. But that’s part of the goddess lore in the story so that’s more of a me thing to develop patience for. It did make me smile when she finally did get her head pats.

I’m very curious about what is going to happen to these characters, I’m tempted to get the light novels or manga and continue reading because the world building and subverting the isekai or hero tropes in this series is fascinating to me. Much more interesting than all these copy paste isekai series we’ve been getting the last 5+ years.

No offense if you like that sort of thing but I want something more unique than random person gets transported, has to fix their villain backstory or solve the problems of the new world.

Which I do like in certain situations if I like the characters, my recent favs would be My Next Life as a Villainess or Campfire Cooking in Another World is my Absurd Skill but sometimes it’s great to have something different.

Though I will say that you like that sort of isekai trope, I say go for it! Enjoy, I just have personally have gotta bored with them so I’m going to stay in my lane and not partake unless I see one that peaks my interest.
