Tribute to Nelvana, Canada’s biggest animation studio that unfortunately shut down as of recent.

You don’t realize how big of a part they played on your childhood until you look at the wide portfolio of shows they helped produce. Like the early seasons of Fairly Oddparents, a ton of 80s toy tie-in cartoons ranging from Care Bears to Strawberry Shortcake, The Backyardigans, Ruby Gloom, the list goes on and on.

This is a devastating blow to animation fans over in Canada, and it doesn’t help that this comes right after Corus Entertainment lost the licenses to air Nick and Disney programs over in that country.

Hello! I am Esttell, I am the creator of an upcoming indie animation series, called Starshine Sentinels. (check it out on my blog!!) My co-creators go by Coco, and Shige. And oh look, we are also the creators of the indie animation studio, MilkshakeProductions.

And we need YOU. We currently are in need of a logo for our studio, and we are a studio full of artists, BUTT- I think it would be a much better idea to hold a little competition. This way, we can get a community started, and try and build a fan base early on, before we even start releasing episodes.

PROMPT/RULES:

0. No AI (ew)

1. (Optional but highly recommended) Use one of these glasses for the milkshake!

You can use a different glass, but we are more likely to choose your submission if you use a glass like this

2. The milkshake must be Pink, Blue, and Purple, in any order. It could be ombre, it could be swirl, 3 layers on top of each other, pink and blue with purple sparkles inside?(tho if you do this there must be an equal amount of purple sparkles compared to pink and blue) However you want!

3. Must contain at least ONE cherry on top, all the other toppings are up to you.

4. Also, it must be fully colored

Everything not mentioned is up to you! You can do whatever style you want, we will take traditional, or digital art, or even 3D art if anyone is up for it. And if you have any questions feel free to ask me in my blog, or the official @milkshakeproductions blog.
