Animation Elective - Task 5 pt. 1
For our final task in Animation, we’ve been asked to put together a pitch bible of all the work we’ve done so far in order to create interest in our work.
In order to make mine more interesting than only repeating things I’ve already done, I’ve also included some new work - Two more experiments with salt (on a black background this time), and an animated gif based on my second set of concept designs.

Animation Elective - Task 4
To create a movie poster for my animation I decided first to look at classic movie posters that stick to a black and white theme and used them as inspiration for my own. The first example is more inspired by the use of grayscale in the poster for Metropolis, and the second example is a bit of a combination of inspiration from the posters for The Godfather and Taxi Driver - bold lines and the reverse silhouettes of the tentacle and the ship in front of it.
Animation Elective
For our third task in animation we were asked to draw out our character and then draw out the backgrounds.
Here are mine, characters are Doug the dog and Mary. Mary isn't draw with a full body as the only part you see of her is her head and shoulders area.
