Portsmouth sketches
Lady Elizabeth escapes her kidnapers and makes her way to Portsmouth on the southern shore of England. I continue world-building—here are sketches of a mediaeval town gate and an old street (neither of them are Portsmouth, actually). I’m mimicking on a very small scale what animation studios do. I want to have assembled sketches of all the locations and backgrounds I need before drawing the comic.

"The Reluctant Redemption of Verity Lux"
A story heavy game full of mystery and investigation: The Reluctant Redemption of Verity Lux. I had the opportunity to contribute these background paintings to the game. For most compositions, I was provided with a tiny pencil thumbnail for layout/composition, then built a 3D base, and finished by painting in Photoshop (and making sure everything is cleanly layered to allow for parallax effects ingame).
For some backgrounds, I worked with existing 3D assets, or modified existing Blender files made by Max Wilson. Client: Soma Games Project: The Reluctant Redemption of Verity Lux
