#animated episodes

BC Tubi (a free streaming service) has all the fully animated reconstructions but not any of the mixed stories (mostly complete but with 1 or 2 animated reconstructions). By contrast BritBox has all the mixed stories, but apart from “Power of the Daleks” in B&W none of the animated reconstructions

That is odd. I'd like to know what goes into their decisions not to include certain stories, whether animated reconstructions or partially missing episodes.

You mean "lost episodes (some on prime) are telesnaps. How bad could that animation be" ?

To be honest, I think I'd rather have the telesnaps than animation like that. At least we have the characters' actual likenesses in the telesnaps. Steven in particular looks pretty bad in this animation.

Not only that, but there are fan-made animations for The Celestial Toymaker that look a lot better. Like this one:

Yes indeed! Frazer Hines had mentioned he thought that funding was secured for them when I saw him at a con last November... I wasn't sure what to think at the time but it seems he was onto something!

At the last LI Who convention I attended in November, Frazer Hines said that he thought Disney was going to be doing the animations now, though I haven't seen any confirmation about it in the media. I'm attending the next one in a month so I'll see if anything else is said.

So it seems that the classic lost episode animations aren’t going to stop being made after all! I know the original report is from The Mirror, but they’ve been pretty spot on with past animations, so this sounds quite promising.
