In celebration of the new ATLA movie coming out, i decided to draw the best, coolest, and awesome-est (?) character: KATARAAA (obviously 🙄) Oh my gosh, it feels like just yesterday that I was drawing her in every single notebook and homework sheet 💔 It’s been actual ages since we’ve gotten new ATLA news/stuff, so i’m happy!

Designs for my fanfic/AU where there’s a stupid fake dating arc between garrance because they’d be ridiculous enough to have that spiral out of control. I’m including Aphmau because I love her and I want to and the world is my oyster.

Couple of design notes:

Overall, I tried to go for uniforms that would fit a private school??? better. At least one in a drama or something. It also bothered me that the girls uniform has very little coordination to the boys uniform, so i went ahead and changed that. They were mainly inspired by KDrama uniforms because of, yk, all the drama MyStreet tends to deal with, so I thought it made sense. As well as for other reasons which I won’t get into right now. But, thank you KDramas for existing.

I also wanted to incorporate more of the characters pasts/selves into their uniforms, as per my notes. I think it also something students who wear uniforms tend to so subconsciously, like in the way they wear or style their clothes and accessorize. At least in my experience.

In case you couldn’t tell, I also just really wanted to redesign the girls uniforms (and draw Aphmau).
