“Doesn’t matter,” Eddie began, shaking his head, “It's you. I think I've loved you my entire life. I know I will for the rest of it. I didn’t even realise I liked guys, and I knew you were it. I’d love you no matter what,” it's here, that Eddie’s smile goes a bit cheeky, though the look in his eyes is no less sincere, “Buck, I’d love you even if you were a woman.”

“Yeah?” he asks, laughing slightly, eyes a little watery.

And seeing as Misty tagged me twice, here is another one! This one is from a Fivesoka Angstpril fic I am working on (which may or may not actually get posted in April lol):

She let out a shocked gasp that turned into a sob. ‘Fives?’ He blinked at her, his eyes looking over her shoulder into the distance, his eyebrows pulling into a frown as if he was trying to remember.  ‘Fives? Can it be?’ she whispered, tears slipping down her cheeks.  ‘5555’ he croaked, slowly as if each digit caused him physical pain. ‘ARC-55-55.’ She let out another sob and pulled him into an embrace; he let her.  ‘Echo!’ she half screamed, tears freely falling now. ‘Echo! Get in here! Now!’

It's going to be very angsty 😈

I meant to read it as it was coming out in April, but have been struggling a lot with reading this year.

But I just read 4 fics from this series in a row and wish I had the energy to keep going. Lif’s writing is visceral, heart-wrenching, gut-wrenching, and just downright incredible.
