Plot- Park is sitting at the bar nursing a drink, despite being sober for some time after a difficult day and is tempted to drink the whisky that's in front of him. And for good reason. The man who killed his daughter has been granted a review whilst in prison and potentially could be released. Your muse interrupts Park and things move on from there.

A twenty-four hour shift of routine and emergency surgeries had left every muscle and joint aching in Park's body, but the call he had received earlier was still playing heavily on his mind. It weighed like concrete, heavy and debilitating as he sat at the bar, surrounded by patrons who were either having a good time or drowning their sorrows. Music played, some song he maybe would have recognised if he was paying attention. All he could focus on was the amber liquid in the bottom of a glass, the ice cube melting. He could take one sip and there would be five years of sobriety gone. He had relapsed already the night of his daughter's funeral, had tried to overdose and ended up being admitted to his own ER. So far, he had been five years sober and he normally would have had more resolve, more resistance, more fight in him.
