Addressing the "Afraid Of The Dark" AI Concerns

Hello everyone! I know this may be a bit unprecedented, but the Motionless In White tag has had a few people bringing up concerns about the band using AI for the "Afraid Of The Dark" single cover. While there are real conversations to be had about the official merch store possibly using AI art, after the song's release yesterday, Chris confirmed on Instagram that the single's cover art was done by the band's former drummer, Angelo Parente, who is now a tattoo artist who has been using this art style since at least 2018:

While we here at miwnet understand the concerns about AI usage, it is also important to keep in mind that AI art steals from real artists like Angelo. To assume all art that has this style is AI generated makes it harder to delineate between what is truly AI generated and what is someone's real art style that they have spent time and energy making their own.
