i finally made my hrothgal concept from like a year ago when they revealed the models :') her name is anezka sofkasch, born in a helion clan as its future queen but faked her death and ran away instead as a lost because she's scared of responsibility and maybe also has problems with monarchy-type governments.
she travels a lot anywhere Not Ilsabard (so her clan doesn't find out she's alive) as a mercenary for hire. she was typically employed by beast tribes early in her adventures due to not speaking any of the languages found on aldenard or othard and being, uh, scary-looking to those unaccustomed to her people. she fared a lot better after learning some of those languages though, but still frequently works with the beast tribes because they were particularly kind to her early on. :)
more recently she's taken on a role as the bodyguard of yuuna orl, who anezka met because yuuna also works with the beast tribes regularly, especially the ixal due to the high prices their exports fetch in gridanian markets. yuuna is a much older oc (maybe like one of my first 3 or 5 ffxiv ocs!!!) who is actually from the moks, a xaela tribe known for infiltrating other tribes. obviously, she in particular infiltrated the orl tribe, and went with them to coerthas. also obviously, it did not end well! nowadays she uses her skill of blending in to any place she pleases to orchestrate trade routes for the often disenfranchised beast tribes, namely the ixal.
