You turn off the car, unbuckle your seatbelt, place your keys in your lap and just lean in the seat for a moment.

“Jaehyun I’m so tired. I’m just so, bleeping, tired.” your husband places his wallet, phone, and keys in the cup holder and grasps your face with both his hands, forcing you to look at him. He squishes your cheeks and your mouth forms a pout.

“I know my love, you’re doing great though, I’m proud of you,” he gives you a heart warming smile before leaning over and whispering, “also, you looked really hot today.” he leans back and winks at you before exiting the car, and after all these years you still blush at his flirtatious remarks.

You two exit the car, closing the doors securely before moving to the back seats. Jaehyun asks you to unlock the back doors and you go into your pocket to take them out but suddenly you realise—

“I locked the keys in the car.” your eyes fly to the floor of the drivers seat, seeing your keys lay lifelessly on the mat. You look up at him in fear but he gives you a reassuring look, “It’s fine! I have the spare key!” you breathe out a sigh of relief and look into the back of the car.

After a few moments of Jaehyun not moving you look up to see him standing still, pale faced, “What is it?” you ask, worried again.

“I locked the keys in the car.” you both look from his wallet, phone, and keys, in the cup holder to your baby sitting in his car seat, squirming around and giggling happily.

You begin to start panicking, any ability to breathe gets flung out the window and you start thinking of ways to get in.

“Jaehyun I’m gonna punch the window!” he sprints to your side of the car, “No! What if the glass cuts him!” he grabs your biceps, “Calm down, it’s okay, breathe, we’ll figure it out.”

He looks back at your baby boy and smiles, “Daddy and mummy are gonna find a way to get you out we promise, just keep calm ok? Ok?” the little baby giggles again and reaches his arms out to his daddy. Jaehyun turns back to you, smiling face completely gone.

“He’s gonna die in there oh my god I’m a terrible father I knew I wasn’t cut out for this.” he buries his head in his hands and you pull them away, “You are not a terrible father, love. You are the best father out baby could ask for. We will find a way.”

“Can we go in through the trunk?” you suggest, your husband goes to the trunk but it’s also locked.

“Shit...”

After a few moments Jaehyun’s face lights up, “You have your phone?” you pass him your phone without even answering his phone.

“Let’s google it!” you stand, shocked that you didn’t think of that earlier.

After a few seconds of googling, Jaehyun realises you both forgot about AA and you both curse yourselves for your stupidity.

10 minutes of waiting, pacing, and waving at your baby boy you are reunited.

You quickly unbuckle him and pull him out, sitting him on your hip, “Mummy’s so sorry for leaving you alone in there, you must have been scared, huh?” while Jaehyun strokes his head and kisses his cheeks, “We’ll never do that again baby.” your son giggles at you as his little fingers pinch his dads nose.

You both finally take an easy breath and look into each other’s eyes. Jaehyun leans over and places a light kiss on your forehead but you’re interrupted by your baby pulling at Jaehyun’s ear, “Ah! Son, please—”
