Hello World is very dear to me, and while this is not the page that started it all, one thing makes it stand out - I got to see Fana's face for the first time, and things were never the same after that. It was a very important page for learning Firran's view on who Fana was, and for clues on how everyone came to be in the situation they were in... plus I do feel some pride at having my name at the top of the page as the suggestor, heheh vw v

All of the art on this page is amazing. I knew from the beginning I wasn't going to redraw every panel; in fact, my goal was to do the first one you see in this post, but as I shared my idea with more and more people and asked if they'd like to see any other panels redrawn, votes kept coming in - for "Firran's tears", for "Firran cool sword moment", for "the other Fana one"... and I wanted to honour those and feel like it wasn't just my celebration! I will say though it was entirely my choice to do Firran smiling as well. nobody asked for that one.....

Here I'll put the wip versions of my redraws - the very earliest versions, saved usually within 10min of starting the file. No wip for the smiler because that was just Andia's shapes.

At the end, I will reveal the things that I purposely made different in these redraws. Overall they stick real close to the originals, but there are some obvious departures - Firran's eyebrows; bigger, his antenna shape (I drew the more current one. get retconned), Fana's halo, coat pattern and hands; simplified, shapes of the pieces; simplified as well. I wanted the Fana with the pieces one to stand out the most, and I think I am indeed proudest of the balance of accurate expression to simplified shapes elsewhere in that one.
