Here's a chess fun fact. If neither can find a mate with a king-bishop vs. a king-knight pair in the end game, its an automatic draw at the 50th move.
This is great. I can tell you why the pieces are perfect (Although a case can be debated about stanley's) but what really gets to me is how in the end of the south America arc, they did almost end up in stalemate.
That said. If a one side has a pawn, that one wins due to pawn promotion.
