I am a closeted queer person, and both me and my lovely partner of 8 years have made peace with the fact that we can't come out of the closet in the near future. The undeserved hate that the My Policeman movie and Harry is receiving is unfathomable especially from a closeted queer's perspective. It's easy for cishet people and out there to say that if one is queer, they can easily come out of the closet but that is insensitive af. Even people from the queer community pressurise Harry to "define" himself, which is HYPOCRITICAL, because the core idea for queer community is that GENDER AND SEXUALITY IS FLUID. Your blog and your take on the film and Harry's image in general has soothed me so much. THANK YOU SM🌈🌈
Hi loveeee 🌼 YESSS! I AGREE and its so very humanly predictable how some wants to establish queer identities in a normative way, putting rules to make queer people's existence intelligible to the cishet normative system, I say fuck that, and be whoever you want to be the way you want to be 💜
