#and he's grumpy

When you give someone too much trust you open yourself to a world of hurt and disappointment. So it comes to no surprise that the Romani before the thief had made it a habit of keeping his friends nonexistent and enemies as far away as physically possible. With no one to hurt him, there was no reason for him to be disappointed by the awful, no-good, very bad, choices he made. Had he eaten today? No. Had he eaten yesterday? No. When was the last time he brushed his hair? Washed his clothes?

And yet under all that grime, a pair of intensely bored looking eyes and aristocratic features shone through. He was no young man but he wasn’t old enough to be considered an elder just yet (no matter how many times he thought himself the oldest living creature on this God-forsaken plane of existence) and so he balanced between looking too young to be this tired and too old to be forgiven for his crimes.

It was a good look for him. At least he’d always have his pretty face.

“Rider,” he drawls as he focuses on the knife and block of wood in his hand. “’Here I thought that a pretty boy like you was too good to be skulking around in the sewers.”

‘n ‘en a checkup, after alla dumb questions ‘n stuff ‘fore it’s daytime, ‘n now my chest hurts ‘cuz  Dr. Cheron hadda do th’ dumb dumb dumb presser-cold thingie ‘at takes pictures uvva core. ‘n he tol’ me I hadda seizure onna table but I don’t ‘member nothin’ but th’cold ‘n th’ dumb chest achy. ‘n head-achy now ‘cuz it’s just all dumb.

Home now but it’s daytime ‘n ‘m spossa eat lunch but I don’t WANNA.
