🎞️ This is Tonette. A reel-to-reel tape recorder from the 60s, born in the Polish People's Republic. No tape counter, no Bluetooth, just pure analog charm and the soft hum of magnetic memory. It recorded voices, silence, radio ghosts, maybe even love confessions whispered after midnight. Built by ZRK, showcased at trade fairs, cherished in living rooms. Now? A relic. A time traveler. 🔁 The sound of spinning reels… do you remember?

I find it quite fascinating. Because it's real "Audio-Glitch". Is that how analog horror happened? :D

Mitsubishi LT-5V - Electronic linear-tracking automatic turntable

Used this on every track of my forthcoming album, usually on the fundamental elements. Adds a very subtle but pleasing color to the sound; less obvious and much higher fidelity than the cassettes I usually employ.

This led me to appreciate Shure cartridges more so now I’m running a wonderful Shure M97 Era IV body with this Nagaoka replacement. It is not hyper elliptical as the M97 could require, but it sounds amazing!
