               D’QAR IS EVERYTHING AND NOTHING LIKE HE EXPECTED. the resistance base packed with so many bodies that he gets turned around all too easy, so many loud minds wherever he goes. the place is constantly bustling in the aftermath of starkiller base’s destruction. there are so many familiar faces that it makes his head spin. he struggles to look his mother in the eyes without feeling such abject guilt for running away from her for so many years. he hates himself for putting her through that pain.                “SORRY, PARDON ME MA’AM.”     the woman he collided with is short enough that he can place his hands upon her shoulders with little effort. his mechanical hand whirs as he checks to ensure he did not hurt her in any way; his height does nothing to ensure he does not bowl people over in his hurry on most days. one gander at her face makes his gut twist with vague recognition; where has he seen her face before?     “i’m...sorry, do i know you from somewhere?”

                 this day had been TIRING - ever since he opened his eyes this morning he knew that this would be TERRIBLE. He could feel it again, this pull - this LIGHT that he did not want in his own darkness. He tried to stay away from everything, didn’t even cross the way of General Hux - did not want to SEE him today and when this day finally was over and he FINALLY took off the mask he stood there. Alone and left with this feeling of being CONFLICTED. He couldn’t talk to the Supreme Leader - he would not understand. No one would. 

                 sitting down on his bed he rubbed his temples, suddenly he was so TIRED. A sigh left his lips when he finally laid down. Hand resting on his forehead for a while longer he then closed his eyes. 

             “ hey, whoa, i don’t need any trouble. if you’re looking for a ride, you’re going to have to wait. ship’s already booked. ” // @amxdala
