So I recorded a couple quick scratch tracks of me playing my American Tele and my McCarty through my Fender Blues Deluxe so I could use them as references for dialing in good clean tones in Amplitube and I’m a little annoyed that while I can get good clean tones using the software, the actual amp is still audibly much better. I guess good distortion/OD is just easier to emulate.
I bought myself Amplitube 5 as a birthday present to myself about a month ago; and while I’m really enjoying it, it’s having the opposite effect on me than it’s supposed to. Instead of being satisfied that I can now get a wide palette of different guitar sounds, I now really want a giant collection of amps IRL
