     Alisha was bored. Her life had become so routinary lately -- going from her house to work, from work to her house wasn’t particularly exciting and she knew she desperately needed something more. An idea had been floating around in her head for weeks now, though she’d avoided acting on it purely because she couldn’t trust the outcome would be positive. But it still haunted her, followed her around, like a shadow, and soon... There wasno ignoring it anymore. That particular night, the bar had been suspiciously empty, but she wasn’t complaining. To device this new plan of hers, the silence was welcomed. And she wasn’t looking for a partner in crime, but there was no denying the glow around her coworker’s body when she saw him right before she shift ended. How hadn’t she thought of it before? He’d be perfect. So sweet and cautious, the polar opposite to her. Those were always the ones who called her attention the loudest. 

     “Mate,” she called, her British accent thick as she swung the damp piece of cloth with which she’d been wiping the counter over her shoulder. “You get off soon, right?” she questioned him, eyebrows raising daringly. As if anyone could ever say no to her and that delicious melody to her words.

        The simple way she waited for Felix at the moment, was kind of endearing. For once, she wasn’t wearing an all black outfit, she was now dressed in a pastel green sweats and crop top set. Her jet black locks were half up and off of her face, she was all dolled up. She wasn’t working at the restaurant today, but simply wanted to spend time with the chef. “Hey handsome,”

Alina slipped onto Felix’s lap wearing nothing but the little black slip that had been under the formal gown that now hung on her closet door. She kissed his temple and smiled at him, cheeks rosy because being close to Felix always made her blush. He’d already gotten out of the stuffy button up and tie. “You looked absolutely gorgeous. I think they thought you were a new dancer with the company.” She giggled, fingertips tracing along the freckles on his skin. Her gaze nervously met his and fell again, still not used to knowing what it felt like to be alone with someone that cared about her as more than an object, someone that wanted to celebrate her successes and hold her through failures. “Thank you for coming. You know I get nervous at those fundraiser thingies.”

“I told you we could fit.”
