Funny to me that till this chapter, everyone who stopped climbing, except Hon, all chose to call V and Arlene as “Grace” or “them”. Like all of them try to avoid calling their name explicitly. Because they are now split apart? Because they hurt so much when their name is said? Or both? Or something else?

And the scene Arie Hon vs Luslec is also interesting to me you know? I already made a post about Luslec's reaction in this chapter so I will talk about Arie Hon.

Till chapter 202, he is the only person in the flashback who calls their name and asks Luslec about Arlene's well-being. The first thing he asks Luslec is “Tell me… how has Arlene been?”. No “why are you here” or “you came here to take Amizu right” or something like that but Arlene, asks about her explicitly.

Of course, she is his friends so he asks about her but he didn’t ask about V. Why do I see this as not normal? Because after that he also said “Give my regards to Arlene and V. Although they might not wish to hear from me.”

He also cares about V but Arlene made him worry more. Like he believes V will be fine but Arlene is not. And he asking about Arlene’s well-being annoyed Luslec. Combine it with the scene where Luslec yells at Hon about what happened that day, about what the others including Hon have done; it makes me believe something bad happened with Arlene on that day and it was… Family Leaders' fault?

When Luslec angrily questioned him, he chose to change the subject, offering no explanation, neither denying nor admitting anything. SIU is really smart, this choice is open to a lot of interpretation. Did Hon remember what happened that day? Or he forgot?

I think that Arie Hon remembers what happened that day. He worries about Arlene and believes that V and Arlene might not wish to hear his words. I have more evidence.

In chapter 205, we all see the Family Leaders who join Traumerei’s housewarming party, choose to forget about Amizu’s incident but don't see Hon doing that too? Like why? I can understand that we can’t see the other Family Leaders because SIU wants to hide their appearance and doesn’t want to show them too soon. But we all see Arie Hon and how he look like. He also cares about Amizu! He said he felt so sad when Amizu chose to leave! Not showing him makes no sense!! Or… SIU wants us to believe Hon chose not to forget it, he never chose that.

It makes me remember what we heard about Hon before. Arie Hon never changes. He never changes.

If forgetting memory made Family Leaders change, then if Arie Hon never changed, that means he never forgets anything.

Also in chapter 205, the others chose to against V and his group, except Hon and Gustang. I know Gustang and Hon also appears in the very edge of the panel but SIU chose not to show them, he chose to focus on Yirang, Eduan, and Traumerei.

For Gustang we know that man knows V is not a culprit so it makes sense, but Hon? Why not show him fully?

Arie Hon also chose to separate himself from his friends instead of joining them at the party. He is always by himself at the party while the others interact and have fun together. It’s always Yirang, Eduan, Gustang, Traumerei, and Amizu on the focus. Why show him but not let him interact more with his friends at the party? Maybe the incident on that day made it hard for him to join his friends.

But he, Eduan, and Yirang have interacted before the party. So maybe he just doesn’t like parties and noisy places (he said the way Khun Eduan made his entrance is tacky and storm or lightning can be noisy).

So I don’t know.
