AMETHYST PRESENTS: TASK 001.

For our first task, we are asking members to create PLAYLISTS for their muses.  These playlists should include at least ten songs with various themes, motifs, and meanings for your muse(s) – but don’t let us stop you there!  The more songs, the merrier.  Members can also opt to create playlists for their muse(s)’ relationships, families, countries, etc – as long as it relates to your character or their plot arc in some way.  As always, gifts are welcomed entries as well, if there’s another muse/writer/relationship here you want to bestow with a special playlist

In order to complete this task, members must also provide a description of their playlist(s).  Are they sombre and moody?  Energetic and uplifting? What songs best represent your character, a relationship in their life, a chapter or struggle they’ve endured?  What artists, if any, do you feel represent your muse, or which come up the most often in your playlist? Go crazy & get creative – we can’t wait to see what you come up with!

AMETHYST PRESENTS: TASK 002.

For our second task, members are challenged to put on their Modern Caps™ and create in-depth social media mock-ups for their muses.  To complete this challenge, members will design profiles for their characters’ online presence –– whether this includes Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, websites, or dating app profiles, is up to you! This challenge should allow you to brainstorm what kind of life your character would lead in the 21st century and how they present themselves to the world. Is their online brand highly curated, or randomized? Do they care deeply about how they present themselves and what they post?  How willing are they to share private moments in their lives?  We can’t wait to find out!  Your muse’s online presence can also reveal glimpses –– or snapshots 😉 –– into their relationships, their jobs, their living situations, etc., so feel encouraged to collaborate with members close to your character and then hit the bricks!
