Not only are we not doing that - most of yâall arenât doing so much as posting or talking about it. Do you even know it happened?
Listen, I donât think I have white folks who would celebrate this bullshit in my personal world anymore - theyâve been let go long ago. But if any of yâall are like, âYeah, that sucks. But no biggieâŠâ do me a favor and let me know - because yâall need to be cut, too.
Weâre living through some dystopian shit and youâre either on the right side of history, or youâre one of the monsters. There is no room for ânuanceâ. There is no room for you to tolerate the discomfort and disenfranchisement of others because you sit comfortably in your own home.
If you fall in that category - I donât want you in my life either.
If youâve been silent - that needs to end. Change doesnât come in the form of complicity and silence IS complicity.

I know you see those tweets that are like âX% of this minority group voted for trump.â I know youâve seen it a few times since the election. I just saw a tweet about â64% of Native Americans voted for trump.â Then thereâs this âletâs blame the Palestiniansâ bs. Hmmm. You know what we arenât focusing on when we do that. That majority of the people who voted for him are white! This is a very clear tactic to have yâall infighting and not seeing whatâs clear as day. The common denominator is white people. Any minority who voted him in are a fraction of the whole equation. 74% of the white men who voted (if not more I canât remember) voted for trump. Of the white women who voted at least 69% voted for him. So maybe just maybe, focus on the real picture-white supremacy. Also those stats? Whoâs coming up with those numbers? Indigenous Americans experience some of the highest amounts of voter suppression and you believe â64%â of them voted for him? Please remember what Malcolm X said, âif you control the media, you control the mind.â Think critically and remember to stop letting yourselves be used as a weapon for the west. At the end of the day, all of this is a shit show. Desiring personal comfort over global release is a sign of rampant individualism. This isnât just about us. Itâs about the dismantling of white supremacy.
