This is Aerosmith, resident clucker and full time sunflower seed enthusiast.

Gnome laid Pump’s egg when she was in her double digits, age wise. He has his dad’s personality and some of his mom’s gorgeous plumage. Gnome is the Best Hen Ever, which is why we let one of her eggs hatch, and Pumpernickel is an awesome rooster!

I love this hen, she’s small but really pretty. I should have taken a full length photo of heras she big black feathered feet. She’s about 4 months old now and was prat of a breeding pen I set up to fill the incubator. Not sure if she’s laying though. Fingers crossed. She’s a loner bird so far, I hope she finds a couple of hens to pal around with.

The new rooster of the flock, Buffalo. He still has a lot of maturing to do.
