Yes, Amenath is good. But consider: Amelie and Nathalie who hate each other. Both play nice-to-indifferent in settings where anyone else can see them, but secretly they're seething. Nathalie thinks Amelie is too high and mighty, looking down on her, not caring about her sister, actually the mask that Emilie only pretended to be. Amelie thinks Nathalie is an enabler for Gabriel, the man who killed her sister; soulless, only in it for money and fame.
It eventually turns out that they both got their impressions from Emilie, who was setting them up against each other, just for fun. They eventually need to confront the fact that they both had ideas of Emilie that were not quite accurate, and reconcile over that, presumably involving a lot of crying and alcohol.
