I feel we don't talk enough about representation in Lucifer.
(minor spoilers)
Like 2 out of the 4 central female characters and 2 out of the 3 central male characters are POC.
3 (as far as I remember) characters including the protagonist are not straight.
A white woman and a black man (angel) have a child together.
And none of this is treated as something unusual or how representation is usually treated in media. They never go "LOOK AT US WE HAVE DIVERSITY" or even in the show itself the characters' storylines are completely independent of these attributes.
All of this is treated as the most normal thing in the world (which it is) which we don't get to see often in media. This isn't to say that media that does address the issues associated with such inclusion is bad, but rather that it's very refreshing to see diversity without the creators being very in-your-face about it.
Basically it's just nice to see people (or devils and angels ig) being shown as people and not as characters who exist solely for the purpose of fulfilling the diversity quota.
