I like the thought of dragon form Malleus and Mealodie being kind of like cats or kittens.
They purr, they scratch, chirp to get peopleâs attention, bap at each otherâs heads when one of them does something stupid or annoying, very much aggressive looking play-fighting, napping together, getting random zoomies, lots of bunny kicking, and just general closeness.
These behaviors were obviously much more prominent when they were wyrmlings. They were just infants and it was to be expected, especially since dragons are rambunctious and hyper, even when freshly hatched. Of course, theyâve learned to suppress these behaviors both in and outside of their dragon formsâtheyâd be scolded otherwise.
But I like the idea of them being left to their own devices in Styx for a moment (maybe a giant testing room with ample space to see how their magic reacted together after the whole debacle that was Book Seven) and they ended up egging each other on until they were in their natural forms and playing like hatchlings again. When left alone, the they can often end up acting like normal siblingsâteasing each other out of boredom, doing things that they know annoy the otherârather than the feared mages the world knows them as.
Also imagining them preening is very cute to me!
I think theyâd lightly fix up each otherâs feathers on the back of their heads and maybe along the spine where their spikes are, but not much else is involved in their mutual grooming.

1- his CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT IS GOATED.Â
First, a common mischaracterization is that he started as a shy and quiet and anxious type. This isnât completely true. He was very hell capable of speaking for himself. Heâs respectful and less sociable NOT shy. Now his character development is really good because itâs not to much. Itâs doesnât completely change him. He grows rather than shapeshifts.Â
2- his good qualities that show. He trust Jack, but also has boundariesz this is the same with the other newsies too. Then his respect. Heâs organized and wants guidelines in the strike. His complexity is shown by NOT BREAKING CHARACTER.Â
3- family matters with him. In a lot of âfound familyâ type movies real family is a side note. But both in Broadway and 1992sies, heâs constantly refering to his parents and Les. Les especially. He keeps that annoying older brother vibe but also caring.Â

I want to talk about something funnyâa video I watched with my boyfriend about Digital Circus (no, Iâm not switching fandoms)âthat reminded me of that dark period in the early 2000s when people used to say that everything that was popular was somehow cursed (especially here in Latin America).
Iâll share the video, but since itâs in Spanish, Iâll give you a quick summary here:
Basically, it warns people to be careful with the series âThe Amazing Digital Circusâ presented as a sort of letter read by the YouTuber Dross (one of the many segments on his channel).
So no, technically itâs not his fault that the story is ridiculous. In fact, as someone who has occasionally watched his channel for years, heâs an atheist who tells different stories to scare people, but heâs admitted in the past that he doesnât believe any of what he says. In short, he does it because horror generates views, and he takes advantage of his storytelling skillsâwhile also making up stories in the process.
I figured I should clarify this, since his storytelling has always been convincing (as if he truly believed what he was saying), but itâs really just a honed skill from someone who studied journalism.
Anyway, what's the letter he's reading about? It's about a man who wants to warn people about the TADC series based on certain experiences he had with his 6-year-old nephew (first red flag đŠ)
At the beginning of the story, everything seems normal; he comes across as a reasonable man. He puts things into perspective a bit by noting how kids today often watch cartoons online and how they sometimes tend to watch some that can be a little scary, pointing out that when he was young, he did the same thing with the shows available in his day... But thatâs where the normal part ends.
He goes on to describe how his nephew started watching the series, which his sister (the boyâs mother) didnât like, since she felt the series wasnât appropriate for children. She even takes it a step further, mentioning that she doesnât even consider it suitable for adults, and pointing out that the characters seem psychotic.
I think youâre starting to get the gist of the letter
He then goes on to describe how the boy began drawing âgoryâ pictures of the characters and started having nightmares.
The video shows the drawings, but I feel they might be fake or misinterpretations by the boyâs mother
He and his sister start investigating whether thereâs something about the show thatâs causing these problems for the boy. But their investigation veers toward looking for more paranormal events or curses rather than logical explanations (like, I donât know, figuring out that the show is NOT for kids).
Among the things they discover are:
The series premiered on Friday the 13th.
It's inspired by a horror story called âI Have No Mouth, and I Must Scream.â
There have been incidents involving children who were fans of the series.
The author of that story cursed his works.
Gooseworx had problems with the author.
Gooseworx is psychotic.
No one wanted to work on the series because it gave off bad energy.
All of this leads to the conclusion that the show is somehow having a negative influence on children, almost giving it a âcursedâ connotation (though they never say it in those exact words), and issuing a warning that if you have a child who starts acting strangely, you should check to see if they might be watching that show.

Honestly, when I saw this video, it made me laugh more than anything else, and all I could think was, âIs this for real? đ â And again, I have no doubt that Dross probably laughed too the first time he read the letter, but hey, content is content.
But anyway, getting back to the point, this story reminds me of the past, when every popular thing was associated with something evil. When I was a kid, there were parents who believed that "Dragon Ball" was satanic, that âHello Kittyâ in Japanese meant âHello, demonâ (donât judgeâback then, there were a lot of people in Latin American countries who didnât even know English), that "SpongeBob SquarePants" would turn you gay (because, yeah, they were worried about that), that Disney slipped in subliminal messages of a sexual nature, among other thingsâŚ
In short, everything was cursed, everything was negative, and everything was somehow meant to corrupt and harm children.
Plus, I canât help but think that the story seems straight out of some kind of creepypasta that was popular 10 years ago. It even has its own twists, like: the series is cursed, the creator is crazy, if you watch it youâll go crazy, and things like that.
As for the list I provided from your research, with the exception of the first three points, I found no evidence to support their claims. At most, thereâs just speculation among fans that the author of the story, Harlan Ellison, and Gooseworx probably would have had issues (though they never met); I found no official record showing that they ever interacted. This theory is based solely on the fact that Harlan Ellison was very protective of his work and probably wouldnât have liked the idea of TADC being inspired by one of his works.
Thereâs also no evidence that he cursed his works, nor is there any evidence regarding Gooseworxâs behavior or that she had major problems getting the series off the ground due to circumstances unrelated to financial issues. As far as I can tell, there are no mentions of bad vibes or a hostile atmosphere.
As for the first three points:
Friday the 13th is more of a superstition, which the creator likely used to heighten the mystery of the series. Besides, that superstition isnât universal.
Tadc wouldnât be the first series to base its premise on something scary. In fact, many Disney movies are based on pretty dark stories. My point is, basing your story on something gloomy doesnât automatically make it evil.
This is the most sensitive point, so Iâll address it separately.
Linking entertainment with accidents and tragic events is something that has always happened. I think weâve all heard the phrase âvideo games make you violentâ, and while itâs true that entertainment media can influence us, pointing to that as the sole cause has always been an oversimplification of the problem and fails to take into account the various factors that affect a person and lead them to commit terrible acts. Furthermore, this argument is almost always used to divert attention from something more uncomfortable, such as parenting issues, since itâs easier to blame whatever the child is consuming than to acknowledge that perhaps you need to take better care of your child.
And thatâs without even getting into the fact that, often, forms of entertainment end up being associated with terrible crimes simply because a personâwho clearly had mental health issuesâhappened to enjoy them. There are many products whose fans have personal problems that have nothing to do with what they consume.
Anyway, to wrap up this post, hereâs the obvious fact that these people apparently never managed to figure out:

Let this be your lesson to not go all out (or do the best you can) for those who wouldnât bother to do the same for you. I was supposed to have four people over last night, and not a single person bothered to tell me they were not coming or that they couldnât make it even after they told me they were so excited about coming and I did all I could to help them with parking and getting here in one piece.
