#yugioh dm #seto kaiba #amelda #alister #is this #revengeshipping #forget all the puzzleship this was the biggest w for me this season just bc i predicted it #admittedly i was already smelling some yaoi but the first reason i thought of it was symbolism #they're both victims of the same man (gozaburo). they both have a little brother that they have lost at least once #even their trenchcoats are similar. but amelda's coat is black while kaiba's is white #their attitudes are different. they have the same pain but kaiba is hope while amelda is despair #so the idea was like... amelda succumbing to despair and kaiba carrying him out like... it shouldn't have ended like this...#admittedly this is seto kaiba so i wasn't expecting much kindness of him #but him dedicating some words to amelda during the final duel was really touching coming from him of all people #these scenes give me hope that kaiba is not as much of an ass as he usually portrays himself as #marine talks
