Why I *MAY* not answer you.
I am low energy or stressed.
I was afk and your message got lost.
I don’t even know you, literally just met you, and just saying “HI” and nothing else besides that is kinda awkward. Please try asking something more along the lines of what got your attention towards me in the first place, like “Cool character concept!” or “You like that band, too? My favorite song is X, and I thought Y of their Z album, how about you?” or “That douchebag was trolling me, too. What a tool, huh?” It’s more engaging.
You’re asking questions that are too personal or assume a closeness that we so do not have.
You’ve pulled that same old BS that I’ve heard before about being “too anxious” to sit in a text-based chat group of other people with me and swear that you can only handle chatting and messaging with me one on one - thereby removing yourself from the accountability of having to BEHAVE yourself in front of other people when you talk to me, which has gotten pretty gross before, bub.
You’re making me uncomfortable.
I am fucking my boyfriend.
I am in the shower or asleep or WORKING right now, so please bear with me that life comes first.
It is NEVER because I am stuck up or #TooGoodForYou. I have layers of feeling secure and safe (or not) with other people, too, and you need to respect that, especially if you want MY respect in return.
