always being the quiet type in a group of people , koshiro always carried a bit of a mysterious air to him - but in reality , he was actually very simple to figure out . always carrying a soft air to him & a calming vibe , it was no wonder he liked things that may come off as stereotypically “ girly “ in nature . with exams finally coming to a close , he felt a bit less stressed about his grades , & actually had the time to walk around downtown outside of campus grounds . he’d never noticed the small book shop around before , though - the building was certainly not new by any definition , but it was very quaint .
dull lavender eyes drifted down the aisles of soft & hard-covered books , the categories on wooden signs that hung idly from the ceiling above the shelves . truth be told , koshiro had a soft spot for romance novels . stories of two people finding their soulmates , childhood friends becoming lovers later in life , rivals who end up finding the good in each other - all tropes of love that left a warm feeling in his chest by the time he reached the back cover . it was no wonder women liked these kinds of stories - they were soft & loving people , & while he chose to attend an all-boys university , koshiro still cherished the female friends he had at home for that very reason .
keiichi never liked women . he supposed he... understood that .
a particular title catches his eye , & fingers pluck it from the shelf to gander at the cover . audrey vogue . that was a woman’s name , right ? it made sense , the best romance stories tended to be written by them . turning the book around in his hand , he lets his gaze drift over the back’s summary . he swears the synopsis of the story sounds very similar to a dream he’d had one time - a beautiful story with a happy ending . a soft , yet longing smile decorates rosy-fair skin . he couldn’t wait to meet the characters of this book . // @ambivalent-auguries | audrey .
