Hi everyone. This was supposed to be practice with Ambient Lighting (and a little Subsurface scattering too).
Because out of nowhere I've been feeling like the technique i've been using for lighting (putting it all together into one big layer and setting the blending mode to multiply) hasn't felt the most accurate for more subtle, colorful ambient lighting and the stronger specular lighting . Then I got carried away with the clouds. Then I got carried away with the ground. I got carried away with the trees. And before I knew it I had a whole painting done in one day. Messy, but a painting nonetheless.
Also as you see here with the minor anatomy change. There's a chance the Ruuik (little guy above the Ikleud) might be getting a facelift too. Which is mostly happening because I made them into a fucking discord emote LMAO.
Overall I'm really REALLY happy with this piece turned out. I'm honestly baffled I got the Ruuik in this piece to look this real It looks like a 3d model to me
