Thank you for sharing this! This is a very cool idea, especially with the issues going on with steam/itch io.

This might be useful for some authors and readers to find/list games, but for me personally I don't think my projects fit the amare description. My games do focus on relationships (amongst other things) but they definitely are not romance games (the narratives are not focused on/centered around romance) which seems to be a key aspect of this genre from what I've read on their page.

Been working on the Developers page for the website the last few days when I have time. A few things I'd like to fix around accessibility and some extra features but otherwise it's going well Responsive design in action

I've been working on a feature for the website that allows developers to be listed as collaborators/contributors on projects and not just the main developer. This will allow people to have games they worked on in different ways show up on their developer profile. Still some UI work to do as I want it to list the position as well but it's getting there.

Hi, Hello! It’s been a hot min. Life has been busy but I have been plugging away at things in the background. 

Things I have been working on

- The developer submission form

- Making the site secure to attacks such as Code injection attacks from the forms

- Running some polls

- Remade the Templates for the Developer/Studio logo and Cover Image logo.

- Lots of Beta-testing and editing. Some of those games are - Gilded Shadows, Cursed Place and Fool Me Once

- Was Editor for Autumn Spirit and Ballads at Midnight

- Been working on my own game Prospects and Peonies

- Got sprites for my game and have been having fun coding.

Conclusions

I really want the site to be super easy to use but in striving for that goal I have had to continue to push back release. Scope Creep be real. I’ve come to a point where I just really need to push something out for people to use and then build on it.

I’ve been building this site for 2 years in-between working full-time, studying part-time, Beta-testing, Proofreading and trying to do my own other creative endevours and I really just need to put something out for my own sanity at this point. A Beta site if you will.

As such I have sent out Developer Submission forms to my mailing list today!

I havent been able to set up a secure way for people to update their info yet. It was something I really wanted to have set up as a self serve style but I just haven’t nailed it yet. As such the first release of the site will be going forward without it. 

Things the site will have at launch

- Search function

- Main game details section for each game listed

- Developer details

Some of the things I want to add in time

- A way for developers to update their information securely

- A dark theme version

- Extra Game details sections added to the website

- THE LAUNDRY LIST OF THINGS I WANT TO DO
