i dont talk about them much because my brain rotates nl 24/7 but theyre so sweet...
so naruto is literally THE REASON neji realized fate isnt all in the end(we dont talk about the war), he made him open his eyes, see that you arent born destined to x or y. and then he gradually became nicer so naruto literally helped him become a better person
you know HOW GOOD THAT IS LIKE HE'S HIS REASON TO CHANGE AND OPEN HIS EYES AND AND *dies explodes*
neji would get a big crush on him. immediately. but he Does Not Know How To Act bc he never rlly had time to think about crushes or whatever. i think he just admires him from afar and acts as if nothing happens but his teammates notice a slight change of his expression, the ghost of a smile whenever naruto comes along (and tenten would tease him to hell and back)
and naruto hes a goofball, hes happy neji is nice to him and everyone now, would probably want to train w him because neji is strong. i can imagine them meditating together and naruto falling asleep LOL like the kid in korra
theyre so sweet and cute I love them i love the sunshine x aloof trope and they fit it. naru is also a Silly

I really really like Neji but he is not one of my top faves! I don’t have any negative opinions about him though, he’s a great character. However I am very very passionate about my feelings over his treatment during chuunin exams and the reason and way he died, I can and have gone on long rants about it. Obviously this blog is not the place for that though lol. But do not fret, Neji icon, I like your fave a lot.
