“I will always be searching”
Tonight I showed my boyfriend my favorite movie, I’ve been wanting to have this moment for a long time. This movie means so much to me, it’s aesthetically pleasing to watch and the story line is amazing. It makes you believe that love prevails even through the 5th dimension. I was ready for the criticism of maybe him not liking it.. I was ready for it all.. as the movie progress he became more and more invested in this.. we laughed through some of the scenes and he became concerned with others.
“She is going to die and that’s it for him” at one point he added. As a sat there watching this movie for the 10th time I realized that I wouldn’t want this moment to be with anyone else but him. This is something I’m going to remember forever, the day i introduced the man i want to spend the rest of my life with to my favorite movie. He held back the tears as the movie ended and they both said “your name?”. I will never not enjoy watching kimi no Na wa.
