I renamed him Atlas Lysander and his traits are charming, passionate, genius, smug and ambitious. He has the Renaissance Sim aspiration and is a Scientist.

Sooo... Here's a better look at him and his backstory, enjoy!

Atlas was born when his parents were both well into their adulthood, making everyone wonder if he was even planned at all when the couple told their loved ones the news. Some people had even thought that they didn't want children, for parenthood would slow down their projects and research. However, when Atlas was born, his eyes golden amber like his mother's and his hair black as the night sky like his father's, everyone could tell just how much the couple had longed for him.

From a young age, Atlas shared his parents' interests - he was fascinated by the stars and the mysteries of the universe that his father tried to chart and unravel, but also by the mess of his mother's laboratory, the smell of chemicals making him scrunch up his nose and ask her a million questions. He loved to stare up at the sky at night and ask his father how big the universe was, and his mother what kind of creatures lived in it besides them.

Then, one day, his mother had a new answer for him. She had taken an interest over aliens ever since her dear son developed curiosity about them, searching for something that had not been found before, something that would not only appease Atlas' curiosity, but also the world's. She found that besides the aliens known by the public, there were also shells, a type of alien that lacked the appearance and powers of one, but, instead, had an otherwordly beauty that allowed them to manipulate human Sims if they wished to do so.

She figured them out, however, because her husband had left her for one. Atlas grew to despise his father, whether he had been manipulated or not, and also shells. He thought they were wicked, even more so than normal aliens, because sometimes they couldn't even tell they were bending people's minds to their will.

When he reached young adulthood, his mother became his mentor at the lab, helping her son pursue their shared passion for science, but also the one that tied him to his father, until she passed away. He quickly became a respected scientist, though not yet as much as his mother, developing groundbreaking research from a young age. He also took great care into being able to identify shells, not wanting to fall victim to the same lies as his father.

And so, it was no surprise that when Althea Berri walked into the research facility, making everyone's heads turn and charming them with a quick smile and wit, he saw her for what she was at her core - a shell. But, despite his best efforts, he couldn't deny what she also was - stunningly beautiful, her features both delicate and sharp, unnatural and intoxicating. He resented her for it, feeling uneasy around her for he doubted even he'd be able to resist such a woman.

He ignored her for the most part, except from when she kept trying to congratulate him on all his research and ask how she could be of help, her nearly mint blue eyes enlarged as she tried to read his, eager to find out the reason for his unpleasantness. "I know what you are", he said, fearing that speaking to her further would make him lose his mind. He locked himself in his office for the rest of the day, his hands shaking while he twirled his mother's wedding ring with his fingers.

+ thea's backstory

Many moons ago, one of Sixam National Laboratories' pollination technicians was looking for a suitable Sim to experiment with when they found Theodore Berri; it was a night of full moon, and he was charting the constellations in the sky, looking for one he hadn't found yet.

He didn't feel his body levitate toward the small spacecraft controlled by his abducter, didn't even flinch at all the tests and experiments they put him through all night. In his alien-induced haze, everything felt like a dream, even though he was very much awake.

The morning came, and Theodore woke up in his bed, but it was still made; he scratched his chin, feeling his stuble against his fingertips, thinking about how real his dream had felt - and how tired he must have been to fall asleep without changing his clothes or getting into the bed.

Just then, Theo felt a strange feeling in his stomach - something like a kick? But surely, it couldn't have been... Unless? He knew it was a possibility, how could he not after all the years he spent researching Sixam and its inhabitants?

Time seemed to fly by and sooner rather than later, Theodore Berri held a baby girl in his arms. He knew he could give her back to Sixam, he knew that he probably should, but he didn't have the heart to do so. No, not when his beautiful Althea looked so precious, so normal, as he held her.

And yet, he couldn't keep her for long. When she turned five years old, the same spacecraft appeared in the sky, silent as ever - but this time, it was the little girl who was taken.

In Sixam, the girl was told her father had given her up - that he realised that, after all, it was not right for a human to raise one such as her. Thea refused that - she knew her father would never leave her side, not if he could choose not to. This was an inconvinience - and an easy one to resolve, at that.

The very next day, all of Althea Berri's memories were of Sixam; of being nursed by a figure in a lab coat, of playing with other children her age in a stark white room, of eating only what could be unearthed from Sixam's soil. But those children, despite her age, didn't look like her. For a hybrid, she looked a whole lot more like a human.

On her 18th birthday, Thea was brought to a room, stark white like all the others, at the top floor of the facility where she lived her entire life. Well, where she thought she had lived he entire life.

Her superior told her then that she would be dismissed from Sixam. She had reached maturity, and yet she had never morphed into her alien form. She was a failed experiment, her superior said. She was, for all intents and purposes, a human. The only thing that set her apart from a common human was that she was hauntingly beautiful, unnaturally so, and that her hair was as pure white as the facility's walls and floors. Every inch of her was perfect, like she had been designed and engineered for months, even years, so much so that it gave anyone a headache to lay their eyes upon her for too long. And, for that reason, she was of no use to Sixam.

Generation 11: White ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Side Note: If you have the Stiff as a Board, Light as a Feather Dance Collection from the store, the dancing skill is not optional ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ From a young age you grew a fascination with acting, the idea of being able to step away from reality and take on a role of someone else excited you. So with the supportive parents you had, they enrolled you in drama club for the entirety of your high school life. You begin to strive for something more, becoming a global superstar actor! With focusing so much on your career, keeping serious romantic relationships is difficult because you always prioritize work over love. You eat, breathe, sleep acting and you were happy keeping it that way. But with a one night stand gone wrong… you find out you are now left with an unplanned child.

Generation 12: Brown  ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Side Note: If you have the Killer Classics set from the store, the cowplant is not optional ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Growing up in the shadows of your parents spotlight was a little hard on you. Although you knew how much they loved you and tried their best to spend every free moment with you, you still felt…alone. Thankfully being a part of the scouts club gave you a sense of family, which you deeply cherished. Scouts club also made you truly fall in love with the outdoors. Being out in nature didn’t make you feel like you were so alone anymore, which is why camping/traveling became something you loved to do. There were tales that there were hidden temples and tombs all over the world, so naturally the curious bean you were you had to find out for yourself. Forever alone felt like a motto you started to live by and thought you’d never get married like your parent, but someone finally came along and you were really happy with the way life was heading. Unfortunately down the road things didn’t end up working out. You’ve always secretly had this crazy idea of making a robot best friend since you were a kid. The thought of having a robot who was there for you every waking moment felt like something you needed in your life, so it was time to make a crazy idea… a reality!

Generation 13: Black   ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Side Note: You must turn into a vampire first before you start working on your LTW  ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Ahh books… you love em! You always enjoyed a good read that could take you on a journey in a whole new fantasy world. So naturally regular trips to the library was the thing to do. Thanks to the library it brought you your best friend, who you later fall in love with and get engaged to. Instead of going off to university like everyone else you got convinced to join the military, but that didn’t last long so you quit and went off to study communications. Whilst away at uni you met a vampire, and end up  becoming completely mesmerized with them and fall in love so quick as if you were put under a spell. This is where you decide to ask “could I be turned into one?” Without hesitation their teeth sink into your neck and the process of you turning has begun. You decide to drop out of university and call off the engagement because you have fallen for another and want to live out your new vampire life. Becoming a bookstore clerk was your only option after dropping out of uni, and you had more time to yourself so you started writing your own books. Unfortunately your job started to feel mundane, so you have the bright idea of buying the local library! Not being able to have children has always upset you, but with your new powers creating your own vampire family is only one step away…
