If you've taken a class with me @transcendsa, you've probably tried this lil' balancing flow out. And if you've ever tried this out, you've probably fallen over a few times. It's more challenging than it looks! I learned this from @jlfromacpy, one of my own yoga teachers (#alwaysbeastudent). This flow requires strength, balance, and mindfulness. Here it is broken down: Eagle ➡️ Airplane with eagle arms; Fly your arms ➡️ Hands to heart center, open your hips and shoulders first, then open arms into Half Moon ➡️ Hands to heart center, square your hips to the floor, Airplane ➡️ Eagle arms; rise back up to Eagle. One of the keys to this flow is PRESS through the heel of your lifted leg, and keep your core engaged. Remember: the poses between poses are poses. If you get all loosey-goosey in your transitions, you're probably gonna fall out. Sidenote: this video is actually sped up a bit to fit within the 1 minute IG window, so don't be afraid to go slow, slow, SLOW. The slower you go, the easier it is to be mindful of every movement.
