In the photography class I am taking, one of the requirements included altering the landscape in a picture.  For instance, you could bring a bunch of post-it notes and cover the ground with them, or you could bring some string to wrap the trees; my immediate thought was to draw in the dirt like a little kid. Originally, I tried to outline my mom's shadow, however that turned out more like a long blob than a cool outlined person in the dirt.  Therefore, I settled on drawing little mushrooms coming out of the brush.  I used a stick I had found on my long walk around the forest preserve (for this shoot I was at Waterfall Glen).  This changed the image by adding design into the gravel and creating a whimsical feel.  When I took this picture there was actually a cliff behind me basically and I was standing on a very steep incline.  It was a little scary, but I survived!
