too quickly had the day transitioned into one so weary and       MONOTONOUS, textbooks and papers littered with messily       written notes strewn almost haphazardly about the tabletop       before him, his coffee now left forgotten.Â
      on his laptop, a new document that had, none too recently,       been opened was left  b l a n k ,  u n t o u c h e d ;Â
the screen was so BRIGHT--- -- (at this point substantially       more so than his future, he imagined) and for a moment he       found himself being forced to look away, hands raising in a       futile effort to rub the exhaustion from dry and tired eyes.Â
he needed a break, to relax, and desperately so. a yawn then       shatters the  silence into which he’d fallen, his spine being       straightened, cracked, as he sits up within his chair, listless       gaze skirting away from his belongings & catching sight of a       figure nearby, just to his right.
‘ hey, you wouldn’t happen to know                   what time it is, would you? ‘
