Only a soul of Determination of use Refusal. If soul traits aren't swapped, Alphys the Alpha can't come about because she's a Justice soul

Her soul is justice, yeah. And normally, she wouldn't be able to pull off refusal. But saving Asriel, and realizing everyone left was counting on her as one of the last lines of defense, filled her with enough determination for it to work.
I know it's a stretch. Probably breaking the rules a little. But it makes more sense for soul traits to stay the same, than to give Alphys a determination soul for this one thing that is crazy to begin with.
Goldy: My thoughts on the matter are: We know that the Genocide Route happened. We knew before ACAF began that that Parallel Worlds were fact, and that there were worlds parallel to AFAC. Therefore, Alphys the Alpha was already something set in stone well before TQ came up with any of these rules regarding the SOUL, Traits, and Refusal. If these rules were added on after the fact when we already knew how the continuity plays out, then it would seem to me that the SOUL Trait Rules themselves are the problematic factor here, not the continuity, so I really don’t see an issue with bending or breaking them, if they’re going to clash with or contradict what’s already said to have happened.
Mia: that said, I will try to keep to the rules of AFAC whenever possible, but circumstances like this require a little bending.
