#almost 2am

Owl, who had ended up adopting a 10 year old and a baby, back when he was still 20 and lively— ones he adopted after killing their biological father during a raid on said biological father’s house (he was conspiring with bad people). Kids who he had his team’s help raising. Who he taught everything he knew to, who he loved to spoil- yet still taught to be respectful. His little princesses, his baby girls…. People he swore to protect all his life- despite only having them for two months…

His eldest, the same kid who witnessed what the torture had done to Owl’s mental state, how losing the team had affected him…. All first hand too

Owl who once used to be way more cheerful and carefree, left as a shell of his former self upon returning to base. Far too blunt, far too serious, far too distant, no longer even showing his face in private. Who ended up pushing her away the first few weeks back, scaring her on accident. Being too harsh when his temper flared. Owl, who…. Accidentally hit her with the door when he closed it far too fast, not realizing she was trying to tag along. Who near immediately opens the door again when he hears the thud that echoed from outside the METAL DOOR after it shut- the pained noise from outside—

Who, instead of remaining distant- or getting angry and yelling like he did to the recruits…. Froze up and started to tremble, seeing her sitting on the floor, holding her bleeding nose with tears in her eyes- head a bit red from the impact…. Who tried to reach out- to apologize— to gather her up in his arms…. Only to flinch when she began to cry and jolted away. Owl, who remained frozen- listening to his kid’s cries- his baby— scared of HIM….

Who immediately shoves his mask off and grabs her, holding her close while she struggles— who he keeps apologizing to while shaky hands examine the bruises already forming on her. Who, instead of hiding it and blaming her— immediately rushes her to medbay after putting his mask back on…. Who ends up handing her & her sister over to Laswell until he could get his mind back on the right track….

Owl, immediately taking leave right after. Going to therapy, trying to force himself to recover- not wanting to lose the one thing he had after losing his team

It took him 8 months until he was cleared to see her again, and of course she was TERRIFIED…. It took him 2 more to regain her trust. He may not have been the same, but he still cared…. Tried to still act the same.

Owl who ends up managing to pull through, maybe still a bit stricter and cautious than he used to be…. But at least in the right enough mind to raise her. He tries his best, even WHEN HE’S WORKING— making sure they were near and safe at all times. Who eventually ends up owning a large portion of land, making a home, adding an orchard, fixing everything up… and it slowly becomes home and a wildlife sanctuary as some raid missions left him with animals to care for.

Who actually dragged his kids around to bases he was deployed in for years, exposed his eldest to how his work life was. Unknowingly made her understand why he’d broken apart all those years ago— and she ends up wanting to become a medic. Wanting to be more independent, to be able to watch over his back when the time comes too. Eventually, she convinces him to let her stay back at home(once she was 15 & her sister 5)— shows him she can watch over herself, handle her studies (via being homeschooled by a tutor he pays for with his own money and some help from Laswell), take care of her younger sister AND the animals. First few months he always makes sure to check in anxiously, but without any incidents, he leaves her be eventually. Owl, who after 2 years of deployment- returns to his eldest(now 17) showing him she passed for medschool(despite her age), and his youngest already wanting to know knew things and to study too.

Owl who stays with them for a year, helping his eldest settle into school & placing his youngest into school as well. Then making sure the sanctuary surrounding his home is self sustainable now that his eldest would have her hands full— and after a year of leave he gets called to join the 141. He’d immediately get to work with making sure everything is set (now that his eldest is busy), make sure Laswell finds a good capable guardian for his youngest for whenever he’s away (tho his eldest still takes some days to check over & watch after her sister). And then slips back into the military, covering up the tracks leading his civilian life & military life together. (Takes occasional breaks to check over the two tho.

Owl who even during the times he brought his kids onto bases— had managed to hide them from everyone except Laswell and the medics XD. Not a very well known fact he has kids, the guy moves fast in covering up tracks and doesn’t even have anything in his office that points to them.

His kids are just as close to animals as he is

His eldest is working fast on her studies (she told him she wanted to be a medical professional but didn’t say she wanted to become a military medic because she knows he’d freak)

And his youngest actually wants to be a paleontologist once she grows up.

Owl whenever he’s not deployed AND not modeling(which he only ever does once a month when not deployed anyways) is making damn well sure his kids knows he loves them. He’ll be helping his eldest with studies and would take her & his youngest to parks and exploring when they aren’t busy. Makes sure to always send over food to his eldest and to prevent nothing but the best for them.

Hell, if the two wanted to spend a day doing a shopping spree at the mall- he won’t complain.

Then he spends the rest of the nights just holding them close and making sure they’re safe and tucked close

- Craig and Tweek stopped for gas and while Craig refueled the car Tweek went inside to get fuel for their bodies, as they discussed. Craig got in the car and drove for three minutes before he realized his boyfriend was no longer asleep in the passenger seat and in fact not in the car at all. Horrified he turned around and sped back. Luckily Tweek was still shopping and was none the wiser. This didn't stop Craig from practically clinging to Tweek whenever they left the car afterwards though. When questioned the response was a monotoned "never again" and a look of someone who's been through the horrors.

- The first couple of weeks all they bnb's and hotels had two rooms/beds. But Tweek has nightmares and sleeping with Craig seemed to help. Needless to say they stopped getting two beds.

- Craig is an active sleeper and Tweek is a light sleeper. Therefore one night while the couple was sleeping Craig turned and nuzzled into Tweek, which Tweek found cute. Then Craig promptly wapped him in the face and turned around. Tweek got a bloody nose because it was dry as hell and his allergies were already acting up. He then tried to be quiet as he made it stop but Craig woke up to the yellow lights and a sink full of blood. Craig felt horrible. He propped Tweek up on the counter and fixed him up with a soft "oh honey" and then spent the rest of the night with his chin on the top of Tweeks head singing lullabies until his insomniac boyfriend fell asleep. Only then did he let himself drift off.

- Craig's favorite road trip snacks are savory while Tweeks are sweet. They share quite often. Craig also, much to Tweek's disapproval, refuses to drink as much water as he probably needs. He hydrates purely through Powerade, Gatorade, and the very few bottles of water he drinks when Tweek Pouts too much. They find a sugar free flavoring that Craig likes and store it like madmen to convince him to drink his water.

- The road trip playlist consists of cheesy old love songs, the crane wives, classical classics, perfect circle, Chevelle, Lovejoy, Conan Gray, dead man's poison, the oh hellos, mother mother, and Mitski. It's funky but they like it. (May or May not be making said playlist rn)

- while saving up for the road trip the couple didn't have a lot of days off that correlated for dates. Therefore they would show up to each other's place of occupation to flirt and eventually both started working for Tweek's family coffeehouse. They were scheduled together frequently because Craig's presence had a higher chance of soothing Tweek's nerves than it did of worsening them.

- they kept the savings in jars underneath their beds. So many jars filled with cash and coins. So many.

- they took stripes with them. One night they let him out of their cage in a field of wildflowers. They thought he ran away only to spend an hour running around the field for nothing when he was fast asleep in Craig's hat. They then placed stripes back in his habitat and danced with the fireflies in the field.

- Tweek is spoiled when it comes to coffee and therefore cannot drink gas station or fast food chain coffee. He drinks from canned coffee, coffee shops, or not at all. But the not at all didn't last long because Tweek had withdrawals, massive headaches, grouchiness, the works.

- Craig prefers to get his caffeine through energy drinks, most recently monsters. He likes the OG but his favorite was the Ultra Paradise monster.

- Tweek's favorite Monster is the Mocha loca coffee. he accidentally created Craig's Monster habits by choosing Monster triple shot canned coffee which he got banned from after he drank two and konked out for a day and a half only waking up to take Advil.

- Craig is always cold and Tweek is a human heater. This makes for hella good cuddles.

- Craig has a hard time finding beds that suit his height properly and the couples nightly routine consists of shifting until they both fit comfortably.

- It takes Tweek a few nights to get used to falling asleep with someone else so he stays up on his phone until Craig falls asleep during the early nights. Craig getting fed up with the Lack of Sleep Tweek is receiving once flopped his entire weight onto Tweek and tossed Tweek's phone into a drawer. Tweek found the weight weirdly comforting and had the best night sleep he's had in ages.

- The couple makes an effort to see the best of what each state has to offer. So they end up at a lot of nature events and festivals. One time they went on a ferris wheel in LA and the ride got stuck at the top. While Tweek panicked for awhile after he calmed down Craig realized he didn't hate the city and all its polluting lights when they illuminated his lover's face. Because he just looked so pretty as he looked on in awe.

- Sometimes Craig will shake his head and his hat will swing with it against his face. It is the cutest thing Tweek has ever seen and he even said 'i love you' but when he was asked why he just responded with some kind of form of 'i just think you're neat.'

But anyways, I come today with an au idea that by the moment I'm calling Opposite/Reverse au. I'll change the name when I find one more fitting xd.

Ok, so this come in handy with the Tango namemc spoilers. If you didn't know, Tango has a new skin, that idk if he already showed on stream or will be in the next hc episode.

So, the explanation of the au, or more likely my thoughts that got me to create this au.

Grian notices something weird about The Rift, so he asks Tango to help him investigate, since he was one of the few people online/awake at that moment.

When Tango arrives, Grian tries to explain while Tango gets a bit close to the Rift. He then interrupts Grian to say something as he places his hand on the rift and- someone coming from inside it pulls his arm switching places with each other.

That someone is Tongo Tak (reference to among us) who in the au would look like the image from above.
