Alucard (Castlevania) x reader
Part 1.
Pt.1/5
Pt 2 Pt.3 Pt.4 Pt.5
He was beautiful, hair like silk, skin like the porcelain dolls that you had when you were younger. You’d never seen him before, but his eyes held a familiar comfort in them. A beauty like no one else had, an individual charm no one else possess. You and him were one and the same.
Tags/warnings: nudity, female intended reader,
You walked whistfully through the moss-covered forest floor, the evening air still full of fog and mist from the rain you'd received earlier in the day. You bend down, picking up a small branch of berries and placing it in your small foraging basket. Your old dress torn, tattered, ripped and resewn to be more practical in the woodsy environment. You wore no undergarments, the original length of your dress halved in height, and the seams sewn tighter to hug your body closer. Long, flowy, white dresses were not practical, hence why you altered yours. The once white fabric stained a dark crimson maroon color to hide the dirt and grime better. Long sleeves hugged your arms to protect you from the thorns while foraging. You'd made yourself other clothes, but this one was your favorite, this showed what you truly were, a changed woman. But it wasn't always this way.
You stood behind your mom, your father blocking the door with his beastly figure, holding back the angry mob of townsfolk from breaking down your front door. Your mother rushed around the house packing small things into a leather satchel as your father shamed the ones outside the door with torches and pitchforks. “SHE'S A CHILD YOU BOBOLYNE HORDE, THE LASS TIS BUT A CHILD, MERCY BE UPON HER!!” The door creaks with disagreement, as does the crowd. “The devil knows no age, Wickerson!! Evil prevails in anything, so it must be diminished before it gains the means to thrive!!” That was your town's Reeve, Mister Piers. He'd watched you as a baby, letting you play with his son, Elis. You'd always been fond of him, he was like your second father, and here he was, declaring the means for you to be torched. He'd seen you use your mind, not in the ways the usual man would though. You'd never thought much about it, you could always move the water with the simple thought of doing so. The animals spoke to you with a similar dialect to that of a Sot, not a very good tongue those animals had, but still, it's not like they were taught. The flower sang with visions of color that you could understand, and the air whistled by with playful gusts, as if to tease you. The land had always loved you, and you subsequently felt the same.
Piers enters your home without a knock, he never knocked, he was family so why would he? He glanced around, most likely looking for your father. “Father should be in his drawing room, if you want I could go fetch him,” he turned to you, ready to speak, yet he paused. Piers watched you with eyes as wide as charger plates, You stirred the ladle of the pot yet you stood nearly four feet from the counter. A knife gently rocking back and forth as it sliced the vegetables with studied precision, yet no hand held the blade. “witch,” he murmured. “Pardon?” you spoke back, not understanding his reaction. Mother had always preached to you about not displaying your gifts to the townsfolk, because they wouldn’t understand you. Mister Piers was family though, was he not? Not, because now he demanded you be put to death. How rude.
Your mother grabbed the last of your things and strung the bag around your shoulder, tears welling in your eyes. She bent over slightly to look you in your eyes. “Our love knows no bounds when it comes to you, our beautiful *Name*, you're not a monster, they're just too simple to understand your beauty,” she whispers in hushed sobs as she places a longing kiss on your cheek. She ushers you to your back door, making sure your bag is secure before quietly unlocking the door and opening it silently, the angry mobs protest louder than before, echoing words of hate meeting your ears. Your mother ushers you outside, pointing towards the woods, “Run my love, run and never look back!” she says in a pained voice, as if the words themselves had to rake their way from a place your mother never had hoped to unlock. So you did as you were told, you ran, you ran till the lights of your town weren't visible, and even then you kept running. Fleeing from a place you'd called home, now turned hell.
Your small wooden house was hidden away from all life, not deep in the woods but still secluded. Your house wasn't built, but rather formed. You had collapsed from exhaustion after fleeing your town, and awoke to a canopy of roots shielding your body from the harsh rain outside, the dirt ground replaced with semi-level makeshift wood planks. The canopy has built-in nooks and crannies, a large cubby to place bed linens, a waist-height cluster of branches working as a makeshift counter, everything you could need. The world loved you, so it made you a home, it made you your domain. That was years ago though, The only memories you cherished that remain of your old home were the love of your mother and father, and you planned to keep it that way.
The once-empty house is now filled with colorful crystals and small gourds filled with medicinal herbs. Small animals resting throughout your house, it was theirs just as much as it was yours. You roamed your floors with a naked figure, there was no need for clothes other than for protection from the harsh thorns and vines when you were foraging. You stored your goods away in their respective containers and swiftly left your house again. You rushed to the waterfall not far from your house, the one that poured from the large cliff into the vast open river that went on for miles. This was your favorite place, this was where you could relax and toy around with the beauty of the land. You laughed and squealed as you dove headfirst into the chest deep water. You turned around, floating on your back as giggles escaped your mouth, big and small fish alike rushed towards you, playfully spiraling around your body. You then stood up in the water, your collarbone just barely peaking out of the water as you shuffled around on your tip toes. Large packs of deer and big herds of moose stay in place drinking water and lying by the grass in the river bed. They knew you weren't a threat, this was a nightly ritual, and they were used to it by now. You make your way over to a rock you're rather familiar with, the one you sprawl out on naked to bask in the hot sun, the rock you often find yourself sleeping on in the summer heat. You hopped on the rock with ease, plopping your sopping wet body onto the stone and lying on your back to gaze at the stars. This was truly the perfect life.
Suddenly, the cicadas seemed to hush and the crickets halted their song. You heard the scurrying of the deer and moose nearby, hurrying away from something. Someone was here. You shot up, glancing around. There he was, a beautiful, tall, blonde-haired man. He was dressed in a fine cotton tunic and expensive-looking trousers, a shiny silk cape enveloping his figure. He stood at the very edge of the riverbank, staring directly at you. He looked surprised, not extremely, but you could tell his brows were raised a bit in curiosity. You slowly maneuver off the stone, using the water to your advantage, making the surface walkable so you wouldn't have to swim towards him. You sheepishly approach him, your feet tapping against the top of the water as you crept towards him like a skittish dog. You hadn't seen anyone since you had left the village at the ripe age of 14, you were now 26, or somewhere around that age, you didn't bother keeping track nowadays. You hadn't had human contact in over 12-maybe 13 years, so how was it your luck that it happened to be the most beautiful man you'd ever laid eyes on?
“Hello,” he spoke softly, as if his words were going to startle you away. “Hello,” you say back, almost excitedly, your voice a bit quiet due to the lack of talking over the years. He seemed to be examining you, a small, barely noticeable pink twinge of blush on his cheeks. “Do you always roam around in the nude or am I just lucky?” he says with a small smile on his face, a teasing tone hidden in his honey-laced voice. That's right, you'd kind of forgotten that it wasn't all that normal to be naked all the time, much less so shamelessly I front of other people. Still, you didn't care. “What's your name?” you ask eagerly, desperate to know the stranger's name. He looks you in the eyes, giving the two of you a beat of silence before answering. “My name is Alucard, son of Dracula,” he states in his firm steady voice that held notes of comfort and sweetness to them. You had no clue who Dracula was, much less who his son was, but even so, the words held a sort of heavy power to them, one you couldn't explain.
You stood up straight, fixing your posture to mimic his, “*Name*, daughter of Wickerson,” you say back, emulating his response. He laughed out quietly with a small smile, “What is a woman such as the nature of yourself doing roaming around the woods at night, much less without clothes?” he asked with a raised brow. “This is how I always am,” you reply, a small smile on your face matching his. “Ah, is that so?” he says coyly with that same smirk as before. He then gently took a step out onto the water, getting closer to you. *What? How was he?-Oh-, * he wasn't actually walking on the water, just hovering slightly above it, but still, this man possessed gifts like you, he was able to do the odd things that people wanted to ring your neck for, he was like you. “You're like me,” you say in awe. He chuckles as he begins to slip his cloak off, tossing it back on the riverbank. “Love, I figure we're quite the opposite,” he says, kneeling to remove his boots. “See you’re a gift to this world, I'm merely an abomination living in it,” he finishes as he stands up and tosses his boots back next to his cloak. Suddenly he leans to his side, and gracefully falls back into the water, diving deep below the surface. You quickly follow suit, softening the water and falling underwater. He swims further and further down, stopping at a certain point to rest on a sunken log on the lake floor. It becomes impossibly dark the further down you swim, and you get visibly frustrated at the lack of being able to see him. As if on cue, the lake's floor ignites in a light show of blue and green bioluminescent plants, not the brightest source of night but it allowed you to see the man better. You feel it gets difficult to breathe, and with one swift thought in your brain, a small bubble of air forms around your face, just the front, letting you breathe and continue to stay down here with the man. You saw him sitting on the log, and he was studying you with a curious gaze. You pointed at him, almost as if you were telling the water to give him a bubble too. You couldn't let this man drown, not when he was this beautiful at least. A small bubble just like what you had appeared on his face too, catching him off guard a bit and giving him a perplexed look. You approached him, running your hands along his thighs as your press your face closer to his, connecting your two bubbles. All noise around you is muted, leaving just the two of you in your own little space.
“I appreciate the bubble love but I don’t need it,” he says matter-of-factly. Now it's your turn to be confused. “What are you exactly?” you ask bluntly. He laughs a bit, “I'm a vampire, I'm dead,” he responds just as bluntly as you had asked the question. Oh. You knew what vampires were, Piers had preached mantras about how evil creatures like vampires were roaming around, and that we should be wary of their trickery. Piers had also said you were evil as well, maybe his judgement was skewed because this man was rather pleasant to be around, and you felt like you weren’t too bad of company yourself, of so you’d like to think.
You sat on your knees, your waist dipped in the water, and a small part of your thighs and your entire upper torso were above the water. You stayed sitting in the silt, gazing up at the vampire as he took his shirt off, exposing his toned muscles while he wrung his shirt out. “where do you live darling?” He asked casually as he rolled the bottom part of his pants into a cuff. You just simply pointed in the general direction of your house, which wasn’t entirely wrong. From where you pointed it was an entirely straight shot to your house, he could find it easily. “Well, how do you feel about a visit tomorrow? You seem like a nice lady, and you could say I’m new to the area, I could really use some neighborly hospitality,” he says with a lighthearted tone. You nod frantically, you’d love to see this man again, under any circumstances. “What about your house? Where are you at?” You ask skeptically. This was the middle of nowhere, nobody really just decided to up and settle down in somewhere like this. He points to the large hill with his hand, gesturing to it as if he wasn’t truly sure yet. “Well I believe it’s over that hill, but it could be in just that general area for all I know, like I said, I’m fairly new here,” he jokes as he picks up his cape and boots. “Dont worry, ill show you tomorrow,”You nod, not really understanding him. How do you not know where your own house is? He was acting as if he’d just arrived here today. “Well then, I reckon I’ll see you when the sun rises sweetheart, until then farewell,” and just as quickly as he’d appeared he had vanished. A large gust of wind waving your hair around as he left. You hummed out in amusement and laid down fully into the water, only your chest, knees, part of your upper thighs, and face lie above the water now. Your mind deep in thought. He had just left but…
You couldn’t wait to see him again.
