Torture Me: Iâll write a drabble about your character torturing mine or vise versa.
Iâm going to write this Drabble in the perspective of both of these ladies and hope I get some of Clementineâs characteristics right. So helpful criticism would be appreciated :3
And Iâm not sure if this is torture? I canât imagine either of them doing the act so Iâm sorry if this doesnât echo what you wanted
Walkers were beginning to be more and more of a problem; while food, water, shelter, ammo, guns, medicine, and weaponry were running ever lower as days passed. And yet for all that, the world could still surprise the lucky (or unlucky depending on whom you asked) survivors that still fought back. Clementine hadnât known superheroâs truly existed (please those fairy tales were a fools hope) and yet had her life saved by a blonde Wonder Woman. She had run into a blind end; and had just reserved to die when the woman showed up out of nowhere, shooting at the walkers with no pause, and no mercy, with the odd looking guns in her hands. Five had cornered her. Five were permanently dead. The girl certainly knew how not to waste any bullets. Or whatever else the gun spat at the walkers. The blonde didnât even look winded even though moments before she had ran here (Clementine had heard the running steps vaguely) to save her life.
âShhui whauks eayils.â The Wonder Woman stated in a weirdly British accent which threw Clementine for a loop. What the hell was that?
âHuh?â She asked brilliantly looking confused. The hazel eyes brightened and she nodded as if deciding something, and came closer. She pulled out a metal device from her pocket and showed a picture of...a dictionary? âHuh?â She asked again, quite eloquently. The blonde pointed to Clementine and then to the book and then to herself. Then she was getting the silent command: you will get me one of these. âAll the libraries had to be burned for kindling, and I doubt there are many dictionaries left.â But she still would do her best to find one. She owed this woman her life.
Jenny followed the young child (or was it lady?) as she was taken very cautiously around the ghost city. She had very quickly realized that something was horribly wrong on this planet the moment she landed crashed onto it. She had seen the stumbling dead looking...things stalk this young girl very quickly for what seemed to be dead. How fast could dead things walk? Apparently here, VERY fast indeed. She had known she didnât know the language from the scraps of writings she had found and so had asked the girl to find her a dictionary. At least the computer she had had found an image of the book and she had it automatically on her images whenever she landed somewhere new. They found a barely standing pharmacy and looked through the pile of left over books. Miraculously, they did find a still barely legible book.
Minutes (perhaps a half hour) later Clementine asked her burning questions as they found a good place to settle down: âHow did you get those weapons? And could you teach me to protect myself?â She had to learn to survive long enough to see herself as an adult.
âThis planet is war torn with little weapons, and even fewer survivors.â Jenny stated not as a question but an observation. Clementine was still shocked how fast the Wonder Woman had read and retained the English language. âI can teach you with the little we have available. And I have either had them since I was....in a war or I purchased them. I couldnât save all of my weaponry, but what I do have makes me a one woman army in your eyes I do not doubt. So I will not be teaching you how to handle my weapons. But yours.â There had been many pauses like this, but Clementine knew better than anyone: everyone had their secrets and will protect them.
âThen teach me.â Clementine decided for it made sense that Jenny -as the woman had told her to call her- would teach her how to defend herself against the walkers with the weapons they had available, otherwise she would die. She sensed the woman wouldnât give up her weapons she earned.
