I hate when you mention the creator of the Alien franchise specifically made the allegory of rape and impregnation of that said rape a crusual part of the franchise horror.
to the point where the main antagonists of the franchise the xenomorph which design was based on a penis. literally reproduce by having a creature that is modeled after a vagina violently chocking their victim to unconscious, and lay its eggs inside them to then later on burst trough the stomach.
Only to have some people response to that as "nuh uh I didn't get that allegory when watching! :/" and see that as a valid exscuse to disregard that fact from the franchise.
The fuck you mean "nuh uh" it's literally a fact! It's ok not to get something every time but to think you not catching direct and consciously made allegories makes them not part of the text is so fucking self centered it's embarrassing.
