Alien whumpee + humans gone wrong is always so great
Imagine being a regular person and meeting this species thats intelligent like yourself and the first thing they do is treat you like an animal
And it’s even better if whumpee doesn’t look human at all, reduced to a creature because they look so different
And it doesn’t even have to be the classic “captured in a lab” plot. Give me workplace discrimination against aliens. Give me humans and aliens mutually meeting and it going bad. Give me language barriers and shaky peace contracts. Give me culture clashes and opportunistic cruelty. Give me your standard basement torture victim plot but the victim is an alien. Give me your standard basement torture plot but one whumpee is human and the other’s an alien!
Alien forced to navigate/use/live in/etc places and objects and other things that are not built for them…
Or an alien captured to be used as some kind of supply of valuable/useful material. Alien captured to be an attraction at some kind of zoo or made to be an “exotic” pet…
The possibilities are limitless
concept. alien caretaker who does not realize humans wear clothes so human whumpee is just bare with no way to communicate that because of language barrier. because aliens.
Star Boy - Chapter One
TW: Violence, Vomiting, Electrocution, Swearing, Fear of Death
It was harder to hide at night. Espen had learned that long before his first interaction with a Shadow. Between their dark clothes and his… stark appearance, it made not getting caught an exhausting task.
Exhausting.
Sleep.
That's what had gotten him here in the first place. The last week and a half had gone smoothly. He hadn't even seen a Shadow. In Espen's moment of reprieve, he had let his guard down. He had been stupid. Stupid enough to sleep.
Fuck.
So now he was being chased by a new Shadow. He had learned to tell them apart by eye color. There were only three in this part of the city, and this one wasn't one of them. Green Eyes was either new or not in his designated area.
Fuck. I can't breathe.
Espen thought about using a blast to get the Shadow to back off, but he was hungry and weak, so given the little energy he had, it would likely only keep Green Eyes down for a few seconds, and then he'd be trailing behind him once again.
I can't breathe. No, no, no, no, no...
In his haste to get the fuck away, Espen didn't notice the road coming closer. Cars. Traffic. He stopped abruptly so that he wouldn't get, uh, run over, and in that brief moment, Green Eyes had him on the ground, one foot pressed against his back before it was a knee digging into his spine.
Green Eyes knelt close to his face, eyes meeting his own as he gripped Espen's white hair.
“You're not sneaky, kid,” Green Eyes said, mouth close to his ear as he yanked on his hair. Hard.
Espen squirmed unsuccessfully and was rewarded with a fist cracking against his cheekbone. He pressed his face into the ground and took a few ragged deep breaths, waiting for an idea. Something. Anything.
“You don't exactly,” he chuckled and pulled on Espen's hair again, “blend in.”
“Yeah, well neither does that bigass cup you're wearing to disguise the fact that your dick is practically nonexistent.”
If Espen had nothing, he still had his smart mouth.
Green eyes yanked his head back by his hair and bashed his face into the gravel. Sparks erupted in his vision, and he could feel something warm dripping down his face.
“Even if you didn't have Santa's ass hair on your head, I'd still be able to find you.”
Espen twisted again, but he quickly stopped when he felt something press into the back of his neck, and all-consuming pain flooded his body.
Espen blacked out before he could form another thought.
White walls. White floor. White ceiling. That was all Espen saw when he woke up. Oh, and those bright fucking white lights. He saw those, too. Felt them even more.
His head was pounding, probably from being bashed into the ground, and he could feel the throbbing in his eyes, ears, and jaw.
Sitting up, Espen could see his reflection in the mirror on the farthest wall. He looked like shit. There was still blood on his face, and in his hair, and in his mouth, and…
He fell forwards with a rough gag as his stomach tried to empty itself, but there was nothing to be emptied. Blood dripped onto the white floor, and he scurried back as much as he could.
Because there was a chain on his ankle.
Because he had been caught.
Sixteen years of hiding, and one night of sleep was his downfall. And now he was in the palms of the people who wanted nothing more than to beat him to nothingness.
Everyone knew what Shadows did to people like him. To creatures like him. The rumors all matched up too perfectly. It wasn't coincidental.
He'd be lucky if they killed him.
Espen was going to die here either way.
He'd met a guy in a drug store once who told him that they severed the heads off of Astrals slowly with a serrated knife so that they could feel each fiber being shredded and mangled.
Espen swallowed so that he wouldn't vomit again.
Another man had said that after cutting the backs of their necks, they'd hang them so that the rope would do the rest of the work.
I can't breathe.
Espen lifted a hand in front of his face and flexed his fingers. His hand trembled as he held it out towards the mirror. He closed his eyes and inhaled weakly, mustering up what little energy he had left.
He opened his eyes, training them on the mirror, and–
A wave of electricity so agonizing that it paralyzed him coursed through Espen's body, emanating from the cuff at his ankle. He couldn't even cry out.
Espen was going to die here.
Writing Prompt
TW: blood loss
Whumpy groans as they wake up. Their vision blurred and their head spinning. "Whoa... what is happening?" They ask in a weak voice.
"Easy there, Whumpy. Your in the med bay." Caretaker said, gently pushing Whumpy back into bed. "You need to rest, you have lost a lot of blood and we don't have replacement"
"Who are you? And... why am I on a ship?" Whumpy asks the stranger, as they felt the world sway back and forth. Their hands clinging to the bed sheets.
Caretaker took their hand, and held it gently. "I'm Caretaker, and how did you know you are on a ship?"
"Because I can feel the waves outside..." Whumpy answered as they felt the little energy they had gained was finaly being spent.
"But there are no waves outside? It's not that kind of ship..." Alien-Caretaker said as Whumpy fell back asleep.

Aliens + Whump 👽
Alien whumpee who gets captured by a scientist who wants to study them.
Alien whumpee who crash lands in the woods, and is found by a crazed conspiracy theorist who wants to keep them trapped in their home all for themself, scared the government is going to take them away.
Alien whumpee who crash lands in the woods, and is found by an alien enthusiast. They help tend to their wounds while learning all about alien biology. Maybe caretaker is also a mechanic and tries to help repair their ship to get them home.
Alien whumpee who's the size of an apple. A group of immature teens put it in a shoe box and take it home. Maybe there's multiple. You know that Hamster Hell YouTube video? Yeah, basically that but with small aliens. (TW: claymation animal abuse if you click the link)
Alien whumpee who's a part of an invasion program that's incredibly taxing. The training program treats them like living weapons, who's only goal is to compete the invasion for their leaders. They're nothing more than discardable drones. Perhaps the alien successfully infiltrates human culture, and in the midst of their deception they get a little too lost in the role. Is this still a part of the act, or have they come to care for these humans they're supposed to be invading? Perhaps the humans are much more thoughtful than their own. Perhaps Earth has become their home... (I'm absolutely obsessed with an Invader Zim AU of this idea you guys)
Alien whumper who kidnaps one person from each planet they invade, collecting various species like they're trophies.
Alien whumper who gets obsessed with a particular person from their recent invasion, deciding to take them back to their home planet to keep them as a pet.
Alien whumper who's job it is to travel space and study planets' most intelligent species. They're do this in less than ethical ways, and, unbeknownst to their boss, may smuggle one back to continue their studies off the clock.
Alien caretaker who finds themself having to care for a creature (be it human or otherwise) that they aren't too sure of. There's a language barrier, and they have no idea what biology the creature has. But they have to try.
World building is amazing, especially when it includes sci fi or magic but what about disability in your world? How does it play a part in your characters lives? What does that say about the society that your character lives in?
What about…
Flying creatures with torn wings
People with chronic pain from their own superhealing, because bodies aren’t meant to be fixed that quick, their body is constantly aching, feeling wrong, like somebody else’s. And the worst part is is that nobody on the outside can tell
Crow hybrids who constantly get distracted by shiny objects
Deaf characters who can make incredibly loud sounds, enough to incapacitate the people around them
Paralyzed fish hybrids who need to swim to breathe
People with super hearing who get overwhelmed by all of the noises around them, the buzz of the tv, traffic, people talking. What they have is supposed to be a gift but is it?
Prophets who constantly see every possibility, every mistake they might make, and are paralyzed by it
Telepathic characters who are mute and use their telepathy to communicate. What about if people get freaked out by a voice in their heads and want them to stop? What happens if their powers get taken away?
A character with heat powers that focus inwards instead of out. Whenever they panic and try to use their powers to defend themselves, they get bad burns all over their body
What about predator hybrids who don’t have a prey drive, who are outsiders becuase they can’t participate in hunting
What about blind characters that use telepathy to see, that use other people’s eyesight
Escaped Whumpee thoughts
Whumpee escapes and ends up in a place totally alien to them. They have no idea how they got here, didn’t even know they were transported this far away.
