I've really been getting back into cosplay this recently!! It's something I'd not really done for a long time, I did put together a Claire Redfield cosplay last year for Comic Con which turned out well, but I've been so inspired the last few months to start making more cosplays for characters I'm really enjoying π I forgot how much fun it is to pretend to be someone else for a while!
Anyway, one of the cosplays I'm working on rn is Kirsh from Alien: Earth. I pretty much have the main outfit sorted, I still need to get a wig, and figure out some shoes (does anyone have good pictures of his shoes??? I've been looking and can't really find a good shot of them)

WHELP I saw Alien: Romulus, (spoilers possible in comments!!), but I have to say I do NOT understand the hype for this movie. It was worse than Covenant, which I didn't think was possible. It felt like AI had a HEAVY hand in it, from script to the terrible deep fake character that was animated in the movie (WHYYYY?). Toward the end I was just laughing at how ridiculous it was, especially the nonsensical use of the famous line from Aliens. One really *good* thing about it, though, the actor that played Andy, David Jonsson-- by far the BEST thing in the movie. Incredible job with his role, I look forward to seeing him in more! Anyway, I like Alien/Aliens, and Sigourney Weaver is all, so here's my original Saint Ripley costume!
