i love that in 2014 there was something in the air that made people realise something is missing from the gender universe: terms for nonbinary identities that are distinctly gendered, but not in a masc, male, fem, female or neutral way.
aporagender*, aliagender, ilyagender and maverique were all coined in that year and it speaks to some really interesting conversations the nonbinary community was having at the time.
*i know that aporagender also includes neutral genders, but as an umbrella term it includes more than that, too.
